Summary: Increasing awareness of health disparities has led to proposals for a pay-for-equity scheme. Implementing these proposals requires systematic methods of collecting and reporting health outcomes. A scoping review on EQIPs found that most interventions focused on race-based differences at the institutional level, utilizing multidisciplinary expertise and tools for continuous tracking of health outcomes. EQIPs can help bridge the inequality gap and form part of an incentivized systematic equality improvement framework.

Summary: This paper proposes a conceptual model that explores the factors influencing ethical concerns regarding accessibility. The model emphasizes the idea that people should have a minimum level of access to certain destinations and considers the equity perspective of differences in accessibility levels between different groups. It includes components such as the land use system, the transport system, the individual, and the temporal component, and also factors like culture/religion, digital access options, perceived accessibility, and normative judgments.

Summary: This article reports on the first steps toward building a Life Course Intervention Research Framework (LCIRF) to guide researchers studying interventions to improve lifelong health. The framework sets out a detailed step-wise approach to intervention development, infused with life course intervention characteristics. The next steps involve partner engagement in framework refinement and further development.

Summary: This study reveals that while medical students agree that racism has no place in healthcare, they have limited knowledge of historical events and figures in the history of American race relations and civil rights. This has implications for future physicians' patient care and health equity efforts.

Summary: As the field of informatics expands, there is an opportunity to address health disparities by focusing on the disability community. Taking a holistic approach to disability and considering its intersections with other identities can enhance digital health technologies. The urgency for this approach is grounded in ethical, legal, and design-related reasons.

Summary: As the understanding of green gentrification becomes obscured, this research presents an urban green gentrification framework to bring clarity to the conversation. Three main dimensions of green gentrification are identified - conceptual foundations, design and intent, and socio-spatial change - along with six related sub-dimensions. Responding to green gentrification requires considering structural influences and other drivers of gentrification, and implementing trans-dimensional strategies.

Summary: This study aimed to evaluate diabetic autonomic neuropathy (DAN) in people with diabetes using practical tools. The results showed a high frequency of symptomatic DAN, which was associated with factors such as age, blood sugar, and abdominal circumference. Using a digital app to assess DAN symptoms proved to be a practical and easy-to-use method, and there is a need to assess metabolic syndrome in larger samples for DAN evaluations.

Summary: This study examined the concept of value in healthcare through a practical appraisal of a conceptual framework aimed at supporting the measurement and realization of financial benefits from process improvement activities in a hospital setting. The case study revealed that the steps described in the framework were fundamentally in place albeit with some variation. The study identified an additional step that could be added into the framework to better define hospitals' portfolio of initiatives for delivering value.
