Summary: This study assessed the accuracy of wearable wireless electrocardiographic (ECG) monitoring in detecting myocardial ischemia, and found that there was a difference in ST-segment deviation between single-lead and 12-lead ECG. Both methods had low sensitivity for detecting reversible myocardial ischemia.

Summary: In this study, the focus is on ST-segment deviation as an indicator of myocardial infarction, proposing a methodology to detect and quantify this abnormality through machine learning. Validation on the ST-T database from Physionet showed high accuracy rates, making the method promising for further applications.

Summary: The automatic classification of ECG signals using deep neural networks has become an effective approach in biomedical and health informatics. However, existing approaches suffer from random phenomena and limited annotated data. In this work, we propose a supervised contrastive learning method to address these problems.

Summary: This study found that the introduction of STAN technology did not have an impact on stillbirth rates, neonatal mortality rates, rates of cesarean sections during labor, or rates of instrumental vaginal deliveries. However, it was associated with a small increase in the number of neonates with low Apgar scores.

Summary: This study aimed to identify AF from short single-lead ECG recordings using a machine learning method. By stacking SVM on statistical features produced by a convolutional neural network, the model outperformed other state-of-the-art methods on the same dataset. This stacking method can be applied to other medical signal related problems without requiring expertise in ECG data analysis.

Summary: An automatic system combining denoising and segmentation modules has been developed to detect myocardial ischemia from electrocardiogram data. By using a bidirectional Transformer network, the system is able to remove noise and accurately segment ST-segment and J-point, allowing for the detection of subtle changes in noisy electrocardiogram signals.

Summary: Research shows that cerebrovascular events can result in ECG abnormalities and cardiac dysfunction, such as J wave-like ST-segment elevation. We can differentiate this ST-segment elevation in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage by using follow-up ECGs and cardiac enzyme analysis in order to avoid unnecessary cardiac catheterization.

Summary: A multivariate model has been developed to predict the risk of decompensated CHF within 48 weeks after STEMI. By analyzing parameters such as HRT, LV ESD, and GLS, the model showed high specificity, sensitivity, and diagnostic accuracy in assessing the progression of CHF in STEMI patients.

Summary: This case series compares the application of standard 12-lead ECG and EASI derived 12-lead ECG in HBP implantation. The results show that EASI derived ECG can be used as an alternative to conventional 12-lead ECG for HBP implantation, with identical conclusions in both methods.

Summary: This study aims to develop an ECG pattern-derived score to predict left ventricular systolic dysfunction in patients with non-ST segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS). The developed PQRST score was found to predict LVEF < 40% and identify high-risk patients in subgroups with LVEF >= 40%, GRACE score > 140, or TIMI score >= 3.

Summary: The study assessed the safety and healthcare costs of a pre-hospital rule-out strategy using a point-of-care troponin measurement in low-risk suspected NSTE-ACS patients. The results showed that the pre-hospital strategy significantly reduced healthcare costs and the incidence of major adverse cardiac events (MACE) was low in both strategies.
