Summary: Accurately identifying potential land use conflicts is crucial for easing the intensifying contradictions between humans and nature. This study improved the model of suitability analysis and constructed a multi-objective evaluation model to explore the status of LUCs. The results showed a significant percentage of land in Hengkou District is at risk of conflict, with the largest conflicts between production and ecological lands located at the fringe of urban and ecologically dominant areas.

Summary: This paper introduces a new algorithm for generating the Pareto frontier for a bi-level multi-objective rough nonlinear programming problem by transforming it into four deterministic models and using a combination of the weighted method and KKT optimality condition to obtain the Pareto front of each model. The proposed solution aims to avoid solving four problems and is demonstrated through a numerical example.

Summary: Optimizing the structure of land use is crucial for low-carbon sustainable development. This study takes Chengdu as a case study, calculating carbon emissions using land use carbon emission coefficients and proposing three low-carbon development scenarios based on multi-objective linear programming. The future land use simulation model predicts the spatial layout under these scenarios. The research provides planning suggestions for Chengdu's low-carbon development and serves as a reference for other regions.

Summary: The study aims to evaluate the mortality rate attributed to PM2.5 pollution in a southern district of China and design pollution mitigation schemes through a two-objective optimization model. The mortality rate is estimated using a health effect evaluation model and the meta-analysis method. Critical parameters were obtained through on-site survey, data collection, literature search, policy analysis, and expert consultation. The two-objective optimization model balances air quality improvement and human health risks by minimizing the mortality rate and total system cost.

Summary: As China's economy enters a new stage of high-quality development, it is important to explore the impact of land disposition on innovation. The study finds that the development of urban innovation in China is influenced by path dependence, spatial agglomeration, and inhibiting effects on neighboring cities, mainly due to inter-governmental competition and the Matthew effect. The overall impact of land disposition on urban innovation has shifted from facilitative to inhibitory, with differences observed in developed and less developed cities.

Summary: Under China's strategy of large-scale farmland transfer and rural revitalization, it is important to ensure agricultural sustainability through the coordination of farmland transfer and cultivated land green utilization efficiency (CLGUE). This study analyzed the evolution of coordination degree between farmland transfer and CLGUE in China from spatial and temporal perspectives. The results showed an overall upward trend in CLGUE, but with significant spatial disparities. Coordination degree between farmland transfer and CLGUE exhibited a steady increasing trend, but varied among provinces due to natural and economic conditions. Furthermore, there were spatial aggregation patterns at the provincial level, although the level of aggregation showed a declining trend.
