Summary: In this study, we found that MCM3AP-AS1 expression was higher in CRC tissues than in noncancerous tissues, and increased expression was associated with poor outcomes. Functional experiments revealed that silencing MCM3AP-AS1 could inhibit the proliferation, colony formation, migratory, and invasive abilities of CRC cells. In vivo experiments confirmed that silencing MCM3AP-AS1 significantly inhibited the growth and metastasis of CRC.

Summary: MCM3AP-AS1 is down-regulated in colorectal cancer and its dysregulation is associated with unfavorable pathological characteristics. It significantly inhibits the proliferation and migration of CRC cells by acting as a molecular sponge to suppress miR-19a-3p expression and modulating FOXF2 expression.

Summary: This study identified a novel colorectal cancer biomarker and therapeutic target, MNX1-AS1, a long noncoding RNA that drives proliferation through the MYC/MNX1-AS1/YB1 signaling pathway. These findings suggest that the MYC-MNX1-AS1-YB1 axis could potentially serve as a biomarker and therapeutic target in colorectal cancer.

Summary: The upregulation of the antisense lncRNA DPP10-AS1 promotes malignant processes in lung cancer by regulating its sense gene DPP10 epigenetically. DPP10-AS1 could potentially serve as a candidate prognostic biomarker and a therapeutic target in lung cancer due to its effects on tumor growth and apoptosis suppression.

Summary: The dysregulation of long non-coding RNAs, especially MCM3AP-antisense 1 (MCM3AP-AS1), plays a crucial role in promoting resistance to cisplatin in gastric cancer cells. MCM3AP-AS1 enhances cisplatin resistance by upregulating FOXC1 expression through sponging miR-138. These findings suggest that MCM3AP-AS1 may serve as a novel biomarker for the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer.

Summary: This study investigates the role of CYP1B1-AS1 in the development of CRC and suggests that it may serve as a novel biomarker for the diagnosis and treatment of CRC. The findings demonstrate that CYP1B1-AS1 can inhibit EMT in CRC by binding to NOP58, thus delaying the progression of the disease.

Summary: This study reveals that the lncRNA EIF1AX-AS1 plays an important role in the occurrence and development of endometrial carcinoma (EC). EIF1AX-AS1 is downregulated in clinical EC tissues and is closely correlated with tumor type. It inhibits EC cell proliferation and promotes apoptosis by interacting with EIF1AX mRNA and PCBP1. Moreover, EIF1AX promotes c-Myc translation through its interaction with YBX-1, forming a feed-forward loop to regulate EC cell proliferation.
