Luminescent lanthanide coordination polymers [H2NMe2](3)[Ln(DPA)(3)] (Ln = Eu, Tb, Sm, Dy; [H2NMe2](+) = dimethyl amino cation; H(2)DPA = 2,6-dipicolinic acid) are synthesized, whose multi-color can be tuned and even white color luminescence can be integrated. Besides, the fluorescent sensing property of the [H2NMe2](3)[Tb(DPA)(3)] system is checked, which shows selective fluorescent quenching effect for Fe3+. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
