Summary: Patients with bleeding disorders may present with more symptomatic hemorrhoidal disease at baseline. However, polidocanol foam sclerotherapy showed similar efficacy and safety in patients with bleeding disorders compared to patients without bleeding disorders.

Summary: This study evaluated the efficacy and safety of 3% polidocanol foam for treating 2nd-degree haemorrhoids. The results showed that this treatment is safe, effective, and minimally painful, with a high success rate and low recurrence rate. It significantly improved symptoms and quality of life for patients.

Summary: This study compared the effectiveness of polidocanol foam sclerotherapy (SP) and doppler-guided hemorrhoidal artery ligation with recto-anal repair (HAL-RAR) in treating hemorrhoidal disease (HD). The results showed that SP was more effective and safer, with less impact on the work activity of the patients.

Summary: Outpatient treatments, including rubber band ligation (RBL) and injection sclerotherapy (IS), are commonly used for managing low-grade hemorrhoidal disease. RBL appears to be more efficient in symptom resolution for second-degree disease and comparable or superior for third-degree disease, while IS offers lower rates of severe post-operative pain and minor complications.

Summary: This study compares ADHL and LH techniques for the treatment of hemorrhoidal disease. The results suggest that ADHL may be superior to LH in terms of post-defecation pain and hospital stay, but prospective randomized controlled studies are needed to determine which method is appropriate for which patients.

Summary: This study analyzed the long-term outcomes of sclerotherapy with 3% polidocanol foam in the treatment of II-degree haemorrhoidal disease (HD). The results showed that the treatment had a high success rate and improved symptoms and health status.

Summary: Rubber band ligation performs better than sclerotherapy in controlling symptoms of HD, specifically in prolapse and bleeding, despite a higher incidence of post-procedural pain. Recurrence rates are similar for both procedures. In the subgroup analysis by HD grade, post-procedure pain was higher with rubber band ligation only in HD grade II.

Summary: This study compared the efficacy and safety of ligation of hemorrhoids alone and combined ligation of hemorrhoids and proximal normal mucosa in patients with symptomatic grade I to III hemorrhoids. The results showed no significant differences in overall efficacy and safety between the two methods, but the combined ligation group had a higher incidence of postprocedural pain.

Summary: This study compares the effectiveness of rubber band ligation (RBL) and sclerotherapy (SCL) for the treatment of symptomatic grade 1-2 haemorrhoids. It aims to determine which treatment method is the most effective, has fewer complications, and is preferred by patients. The results of this study will provide valuable information for the selection of the optimal treatment method.

Summary: The purpose of this study was to identify prognostic factors for the treatment of lymphatic malformations in children using polidocanol foam combined with pingyangmycin and to develop a nomogram for predicting sclerotherapy response. The results showed that a satisfactory response was achieved in the majority of children with lymphatic malformations treated with polidocanol foam combined with pingyangmycin, with low complication rates. The constructed nomogram demonstrated excellent performance in predicting the probability of sclerotherapy response.
