Summary: This study used bibliometric analysis to analyze 110 scientific papers published between 2002 and 2022 in order to examine the publication trends and growth potential of sustainable agricultural development assessment studies. The findings indicate that collaboration between authors and institutions in this field is not strong, with publications being scattered across various journals and a wide range of disciplines being covered. Most of the sample articles were authored by individuals from Asian and European countries. Co-citation analysis identified influential authors and journals. The temporal evolution of keywords revealed a shift in focus from sustainable agricultural operation and assessment methods to environmental impacts and economic efficiency. Statistical analysis showed that the primary level assessment primarily involves the economic, social, and environmental dimensions, with a wide range of indicators selected from various sources. The entropy weight method and Analytic Hierarchy Process were the most commonly used methods for assigning weights to indicators. The study concludes that sustainable agricultural development assessment studies are still in their early stages and there is significant room for further research on the application of sustainability assessment theory to agrarian systems.

Summary: The concept of Industry 4.0 has expanded from manufacturing to include other domains, indicating its broader transformative potential. While multinationals are considered key players in promoting sustainable development, a study analyzing literature on Industry 4.0 and multinationals found a lack of focus on environmental and social issues in the latter. This highlights the need for reorienting research and mobilizing academia to explore the transformative potential of Industry 4.0 in economic, technological, environmental, and social dimensions.

Summary: In recent years, policymakers have shown increasing attention to agricultural policies, with the Common Agricultural Policy being a major initiative of the European Commission to enhance the agricultural sector. Despite the fragmentation in the scientific debate caused by academics with different backgrounds, research continues to actively evaluate the public investments made by the European Commission. The study reveals the presence of three independent and complementary research clusters in the field of the Common Agricultural Policy.

Summary: Research on women entrepreneurship has been attracting attention in recent years, but past literature reviews in this field have been criticized for their limited scope and lack of interdisciplinary perspective. This study offers new insights into women entrepreneurship research by examining the lens of sustainable development and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings suggest that researchers are particularly interested in SDG 8, SDG 10, and SDG 5, and there is a bias towards women's empowerment in ICT, digitization, and e-commerce in the context of COVID-19.

Summary: This study analyzes the factors influencing farmers' decision to adopt rainwater harvesting systems in agriculture. The findings indicate that the quantity of water in the pond, pond capacity, and environmental awareness are the most important factors, while age, education level, and income have minimal influence. The results provide policy-makers with key measures to promote the adoption of these systems, including enhanced farmer training, financial support, and increased environmental awareness.

Summary: Pest control is heavily impacted by intensive agriculture, and installing hedgerows around greenhouses is suggested as a way to enhance natural enemies and pest control. This article aims to identify the factors affecting the decision to adopt hedgerows in southeast Spain. A binary logistic regression model is developed based on a survey of 189 farmers, revealing that farm size, expenses, pest control methods, technical advice, and environmental awareness are significant variables in explaining hedgerow adoption. Action measures are proposed to promote the adoption of this practice.

Summary: In recent years, progress has been made in incorporating the sociocultural perspective into the assessment of ecosystem services (ES) to identify relevant services based on different needs and perceptions of the population. However, a universally accepted alternative has not been found yet. This article proposes a new methodological approach for the sociocultural assessment of ES, combining traditional Likert scale and the Kano model. The proposed approach improves sensitivity and consistency in sociocultural assessments of ES and facilitates longitudinal analysis.

Summary: This paper aims to study the determinants of the governance model of water resources in the agriculture of the Hermosillo-Coast (Mexico). To achieve this objective, a literature review, in-depth interviews, and a workshop were carried out. The results show that the main threats to the system come from the model of granting concessions for access to water resources, the lack of supervision by the competent authority, and the control of a group of stakeholders over water in relation to the rest of the interested parties. Finally, measures aimed at improving the sustainability of agricultural activity in the area are proposed.
