Summary: This paper introduces an inversion scheme to extract induced polarization information from electromagnetic measurements. The inverse scattering problem is reformulated as an optimization problem and a simulated annealing approach is utilized to solve the problem. The results show that the proposed scheme can be applied to various case studies.

Summary: This article introduces a quasi-2D inversion scheme to extract resistivity and IP parameters from SATEM data. The proposed scheme utilizes a fast semi-analytical method for Jacobian matrix calculation and employs a staged inversion strategy with lateral constraints, which improves inversion stability and recovers underground resistivity and IP property distributions.

Summary: Airborne electromagnetics is a useful geophysical tool for mapping glacial and hydrogeological structures in polar environments, providing significant spatial coverage and distinguishing geological units based on their electrical properties. Research has shown that induced polarization effects can disrupt traditional EM workflows, but workflows designed to handle IP effects can produce reliable geological interpretations.

Summary: The study focuses on the systematic errors in airborne and semi-airborne transient electromagnetic surveys caused by the inexact geometry of transmitter and receiver, proposing a universal approach for modeling arbitrarily complex geometries. Simulations show that considering tilt can provide more accurate estimates of near-surface conductivity in groundwater problems.

Summary: The text discusses the significant impact of vegetation on hydraulic computations, particularly for flood calculations. Utilizing state-of-the-art airborne laser scanning technology, a new procedure is proposed to estimate vegetation resistance in hydraulic flow models. The results show a close alignment with literature values and provide detailed information on the impact of vegetation without relying on typical assumptions.

Summary: The rapid development of LiDAR technology has brought significant changes to forest resource surveys, providing precise height and detailed structure information of trees. By establishing relationship models, these developments can potentially expand to large-scale forest resource surveys. In this study, the LiDAR scanner riegl-vq-1560i is used to verify and update information from eight sample plots. The experiment results demonstrate the practicality of LiDAR-based surveys and their potential for wide application in forest resource monitoring.

Summary: The understanding of amorphous and heterojunction materials has been widely used in the field of electromagnetic wave absorption due to their unique physical and chemical properties. In this work, through the carbonization and controlled phosphating of one-dimensional Co Metal-Organic Framework (Co-MOF) nanorods, complex components and amorphous CoPx with phosphorus vacancies are successfully synthesized, thus adjusting the optimization of electromagnetic parameters. Phosphorus-vacancy-induced defective polarization loss and enhanced-electronegativity-differences-induced dipole polarization loss synergistically as a dual-polarization strategy significantly improve the electromagnetic parameters and impedance matching.
