Summary: A TMT-based LC-MS/MS proteomics approach was used to explore DEPs and KEGG pathways in the hepatopancreas of M. nipponense during different ovary stages. The results revealed DEPs and identified important metabolic processes involved in hepatopancreas and ovary maturation. The mRNA expression analysis validated the proteome results, and identified specific proteins involved in ovary maturation. These findings enhance the understanding of the regulatory role of hepatopancreas in crustacean ovary maturation and provide new insights into crustacean regulation mechanisms.

Summary: In this study, the correlation analysis between gonadosomatic index and growth traits of M. nipponense was conducted for the first time. The researchers found that late sexual maturity in M. nipponense had a significant negative impact on the size of female prawns, but had little effect on males. They also identified polymorphism in the full-length Vitellogenin gene and investigated its correlation with ovarian development. Several SNP loci were found to be significantly associated with rapid ovary maturation and female growth traits. These findings have implications for marker-assisted breeding and sustainable aquaculture of M. nipponense.

Summary: RSC is an essential ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It regulates nucleosome-depleted regions (NDRs) by sliding flanking nucleosomes away from NDRs.
