Experimental results on dust-acoustic wave study in a weakly coupled cryogenic dusty plasma within the DC glow discharge suggest that the 3D dusty plasma structure studied at T=83K was most likely a gaseous structure. Published under an exclusive license by AIP Publishing.
Experimental results on dust-acoustic wave study in a weakly coupled cryogenic dusty plasma within the DC glow discharge are discussed. Analysis of dust particle trajectories, their velocity distributions, and the pair correlation function allows us to conclude that the 3D dusty plasma structure studied at T=83K was most likely a gaseous structure.
