Summary: The study showed that four distinct cytoplasmic granulation patterns in human metaphase II oocytes were predictive of fertilization, pregnancy, and live birth outcomes in in vitro fertilization cycles, largely independent of age and other variables. These findings suggest that ooplasm granulation patterns should be considered in embryo selection for poor-prognosis patients undergoing IVF.

Summary: This study characterized and evaluated the variation in serum concentrations of GDF9 and BMP15 across the menstrual cycle in women of different reproductive ages. The researchers found that there were minimal changes in GDF9 or BMP15 concentrations within a woman across the cycle, and the variance was highest in the luteal phases for BMP15. Further research is needed to fully understand the utility of these oocyte biomarkers for diagnosing fertility potential and disease.

Summary: Prodiplosis longifila has become a major entomological problem in tomato crops in Ecuador since the 1980s. The excessive use of insecticides due to a lack of bioecological knowledge calls for a reevaluation of the case history. A new sampling method using a container with sieved soil has shown advantages in terms of time efficiency and higher yield of individuals obtained.

Summary: Previous research has shown that listening is the most important form of oral communication in the workplace, but little evidence suggests that business programs prioritize this skill. This literature review aims to bridge the gap between employer preferences and business school priorities by improving the listening competence of business graduates. Four listening styles have been identified: task-oriented listening, critical listening, relational listening, and analytical listening. While proficiency in all four styles is necessary, the appropriate style to use depends on the purpose of listening. A systems approach utilizing the ADIE model is proposed for developing listening competence in business students.
