Summary: This study examines the relationship between contract types, institutional distance, and operational performance in the LNG industry. The findings suggest a negative link between short-term contracts and operational performance, and a reduction in operational performance due to high institutional distance between the origin and destination countries. The study also highlights the moderating effect of formal and informal institutional distance on the negative impact of short-term contracts on operational performance.

Summary: This study examines the differences in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices among franchise firms in Spain based on the leader's gender and industry sector. The findings suggest that female-led firms are more engaged in normative CSR practices, while male-led firms tend to focus on instrumental CSR activities. B2B companies overall participate more in instrumental CSR, and there are no significant differences between B2B and B2C firms in normative CSR. Interestingly, female-led firms are more involved in CSR practices (both normative and instrumental) in the B2B sector compared to B2C, whereas male-led firms are more inclined towards instrumental CSR in the B2C sector.

Summary: The study investigates the influence of the interrelationship between the deployment of Industry 4.0 technologies and the application of lean production practices on the degree of organizational sustainability performance enhancement in the Bangladeshi RMG sector. The results show that lean production is a crucial factor in enhancing organizational sustainability performance, and the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies along with lean production can assist in delivering lean objectives more efficiently. Therefore, the combined application of lean production practices and Industry 4.0 technologies plays a significant role in enhancing organizational sustainability performance.
