Summary: China's housing cost has reached a record high, and land availability has an asymmetric effect on housing price. Positive changes in land availability have a greater impact on housing price than negative changes. Therefore, policy makers should consider increasing land availability to lower housing prices and reconsider the preferences of demanders, development of mixed land use, and separate regulation of different regions.

Summary: This study applies the NARDL approach to examine the long-run and short-run asymmetries between Bitcoin price and resource commodity futures price. The findings reveal an asymmetric long-run relationship between Bitcoin price and resource commodity futures price, with short-run asymmetry identified only in gold and silver futures. Robustness tests indicate that the specification of the NARDL model is influenced by the time frequency of the data.

Summary: This study investigates the effects of green investment, domestic investment, and environmental sustainability on technological innovation in BRI nations. The findings show that green investment and domestic investment are positively associated with technological innovation, while environmental sustainability has a negative and statistically significant correlation with technological innovation. Furthermore, the study identifies asymmetric effects from these factors on technological innovation.

Summary: The environment has become a global concern due to its impact on human health, economic growth, and well-being. This study investigates the asymmetric implications of economic complexity and freedom on ecological quality in four South Asian countries. The findings suggest that economic freedom intensifies CO2 emissions in both the short and long term, while positive and negative shocks to economic complexity affect CO2 emissions differently. Additionally, renewable energy usage and the interaction of FDI and renewable energy usage can help reduce environmental damage.

The results show that city government policies, economic power, the influence of megacities, and geographical region significantly affect industrial pollution reduction, with economic power having a significant interaction with city government policies. The study also finds long-term causality among industrial pollution reduction, fixed assets investment, and GDP per-capita in city, urban agglomeration, and regional levels.

Summary: This paper aims to analyze the impact of foreign aid on economic growth in Ethiopia using time series data over the period 1974-2017. The autoregressive distributed lag approach was applied to investigate the long-run and short-run effects of foreign aid on economic growth. The results showed that foreign aid has a negative impact on economic growth in both the long run and short run. The paper recommended efforts to improve the negative impact, primarily due to poor institutional arrangements and suggested close monitoring and consistent management strategies to optimize the benefits of foreign aid.

Summary: Based on the IGT equation, the decoupling index Dr of China's economic growth and energy CO2 emissions from 1978 to 2020 is calculated, and the evolution trend of the decoupling development between the two is analyzed. The factors influencing the decoupling relationship are empirically tested and analyzed using the ARDL model. The results of the study can provide a reference for achieving carbon reduction in China.

Summary: By using data from 1986 to 2020 and employing the Auto Regressive Distributed Lag bounds testing technique, this study investigates the linkages among economic growth, foreign direct investment (FDI), exports, and imports in Vietnam. The results show that FDI significantly promotes economic growth in the long run, while exports and imports do not have a statistically significant impact. Furthermore, both imports and exports have bidirectional Granger causality with FDI in the short run, and FDI has bidirectional Granger causality with economic growth in the long run. The findings suggest the need for policies to develop FDI and boost economic growth in Vietnam.

Summary: This study examines the asymmetric impacts of financial development and renewable energy consumption on economic growth using a nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag model. The findings suggest that financial development has a strong positive effect on short-term economic growth, but a negative effect in the long-run. Conversely, renewable energy consumption has a positive and significant impact on both short- and long-term economic growth.
