Summary: Lead exposure was found to promote apoptosis and inflammation in mouse and cow mammary tissue. The up-regulation of IRAK1 and its specific target miR-146a were identified in the high-throughput sequencing profile of mammary gland tissue. Additionally, circRNA-05280 was found to regulate apoptosis and inflammation in the mammary gland by binding miR-146a and releasing its expression on target gene IRAK1.

Summary: The expression of miR-146a-5p is associated with the efficacy and survival of HER2-positive breast cancer patients treated with trastuzumab. Increased expression of miR-146a-5p leads to resistance to trastuzumab and enhances cell migration and angiogenesis, promoting cell cycle progression. Furthermore, exosomes from trastuzumab-resistant cells, which contain high levels of miR-146a-5p expression, can transfer resistance properties to other cells.

Dexmedetomidine preconditioning provides cardioprotective effects, of which mechanisms related to miR-146a-3p targeting IRAK1 and TRAF6 through inhibition of NF-kappa B signaling pathway and ROS emission.

This has significant potential for clinical translation.

Summary: A dual-targeted enzyme-sensitive hyaluronic acid nanogel loaded with paclitaxel was developed for targeted treatment of breast cancer. The nanogel exhibited small particle size and high drug loading capacity, and released the drug rapidly under the catalysis of specific enzymes. In vivo experiments demonstrated that the nanogel showed excellent therapeutic efficacy against breast tumors.

Furthermore, exosomal miR-3662, miR-146a, and miR-1290 can serve as valuable biomarkers for monitoring patient condition during surgery and chemotherapy.
