Summary: It was found that circRANGAP1 is upregulated in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and is inversely correlated with tumor formation and poor clinical outcomes of patients. CircRANGAP1 inhibits NSCLC migration by regulating the miR-512-5p/SOD2 axis.

Summary: By constructing lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA networks, this study explored the regulatory mechanisms of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It was found that the TYMSOS/hsa-miR-101-3p/CEP55 and TYMSOS/hsa-miR-195-5p/CHEK1 ceRNA regulatory axes play vital roles in the occurrence and development of NSCLC, and may provide novel therapeutic targets in the future.

Summary: This study found that high expression of NCAPG2 is correlated with disease progression and immune infiltration in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), and it may serve as a prognostic biomarker. The study also established the AL035458.2/hsa-miR-181a-5p axis as a candidate regulatory pathway of NCAPG2 in LUAD.

Summary: This study found that miR-199a-3p/5p is down-regulated in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and overexpression of miR-199a-3p/5p can inhibit cell proliferation, migration, and promote apoptosis. Rheb is identified as a common target of miR-199a-3p and miR-199a-5p, participating in the regulation of the mTOR signaling pathway. Additionally, miR-199a significantly inhibits tumor growth and metastasis in NSCLC and enhances the sensitivity of gefitinib in EGFR-T790M mutation. MiR-199a-3p/5p has the potential to serve as an early diagnostic marker or therapeutic target for NSCLC.

Summary: This study found that inhibiting miR-122-5p can activate p53 and hinder the progression of the MVA pathway in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This leads to a decrease in cell proliferation and migration, and an increase in apoptosis. miR-122-5p interacts with p53 and is negatively correlated with its expression. Thus, miR-122-5p regulates NSCLC by targeting p53, offering potential molecular targets for targeted drug development.

Summary: Long non-coding RNA LINC01748 plays a crucial regulatory role in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), acting as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) to sponge microRNA(miR)-520a-5p and increase the expression of high mobility group AT-hook 1 (HMGA1). This leads to increased aggressiveness of NSCLC cells.

Summary: In this study, the function of lncRNA HOTAIR in the proliferation of human nucleus pulposus (NP) cells of intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD) was investigated. The results showed that HOTAIR can suppress proliferation by directly targeting miR-130b. Additionally, HOTAIR upregulation significantly reduced CyclinD1 protein expression through the PTEN/AKT signaling pathway. These findings suggest that HOTAIR may be a potential target for the treatment of IDD.

Summary: This study investigates the molecular mechanism of LINC00162 in regulating cell proliferation and apoptosis. The findings suggest that HnRNPK positively regulates the expression of LINC00162, which then interacts with miR-485-5p to derepress PAQR4 expression, promoting cell proliferation and apoptosis. The regulatory paradigm involving hnRNPK, LINC00162, miR-485-5p, and PAQR4 could be a potential target for cancer therapeutics.
