Summary: Industrial robots are gradually finding their niche in the field of machining due to their advantages of high flexibility, good versatility, and low cost. However, challenges remain in high-precision machining processes due to limitations in absolute positioning accuracy. This study proposes a compensation method that takes into account the source and characteristics of positioning errors to improve accuracy.

Summary: The proposed improved kinematic interpolation method for AIS trajectory reconstruction addresses the issue of noise and missing data in AIS data through data preprocessing and interpolation that considers ships' kinematic information. By testing the method on the AIS dataset of Zhoushan Port, it is found to outperform traditional ship trajectory reconstruction methods in terms of single ship trajectory and a large AIS data set in certain water areas.

Summary: This paper presents a general approach to identifying both kinematic and non-kinematic faults in error motion trajectory data by framing the issue as a generic pattern recognition problem. The sparse nature of datasets in this domain leads to training on a purely simulated dataset, and ensemble methods are shown to improve generalizability when predicting on experimental data. A transfer learning approach is introduced to incorporate experimentally-obtained data into classifiers trained primarily on a simulation domain.

Summary: In this paper, an equivalent mechanism to the kinematics of harmonic drive (HD) is proposed to explicitly study the effects of errors and deformation on the kinematic accuracy. The proposed mechanism model allows for the investigation of transmission errors (TE) considering errors and deformation caused by load. Finite element analysis and testing were conducted to validate the proposed mechanism model, showing good agreement with the simulations.

Summary: This study investigates the applicability of matrix format tangential interpolation (MFTI) for state space modeling of power system FDNEs and proposes a novel MATLAB (R) based implementation for Loewner matrix construction. Compared with vector fitting (VF) and VFTI, MFTI has faster convergence speed, higher accuracy, and stability, and can fully utilize all the information contained in the transfer matrix.

Summary: Interpolation plays a critical role in the quality of digital elevation models (DEM) generated from sampling point data. This study proposes an adaptive DEM construction method based on nonparametric regression, which incorporates an adaptive kernel that changes according to local landform types. The method improves the accuracy and robustness of DEM, especially in areas with complex landforms.

Summary: This article presents an online full real-time dual nonuniform rational B-spline interpolator, which solves the nonlinear effects of the five-axis CNC and generates smooth interpolation data for machining efficiency. The article proposes a prospective velocity bidirectional scanning planning method based on interval division to meet real-time requirements and avoid excessive computational burden. The proposed interpolator is verified through simulation and experimental tests.

Summary: This paper presents a link-orientation-based joint error model (LOBJEM) and sensitivity analysis to improve the accuracy of parallel kinematic machines (PKMs). By adjusting the kinematic error model (KEM) with the angle between each link and the Z axis, LOBJEM is derived, allowing the joint error to vary with the position of the end effector. Experimental results on a delta robot 3D printer show that LOBJEM reduces the residual error from 75% to 60% compared to the constant joint error model (CJEM). Additionally, a backpropagation neural network model is constructed to estimate the positioning errors caused by non-geometric parameters (NGPs), further reducing the final residual error to 25% of the original error.

Summary: Data acquisition for geoinformatics involves discrete sampling, which may introduce errors in the knowledge of continuous signals. Analytical formulations of sampling errors for periodic signals have been developed and tested for stability up to a +/- 10% sampling rate variation. Case studies include impact on GRACE and GRACE-FO monthly solutions, as well as limitations in describing gravity features with a spatial resolution of approximately 10 km in the Hungarian Gravimetric Network.

Summary: In terms of understanding the seabed, 3D models, especially digital bathymetric models (DBMs), are crucial for safe navigation and scientific research. This study aimed to evaluate the quality of DBMs based on different interpolation methods, considering factors like seabed complexity and sampling density. The experiments were conducted on a multibeam dataset, and four interpolation methods were tested. The results showed that RBMF and OK were accurate in areas with low seabed ruggedness at low sampling densities, while UK and GMRF were influenced by morphology and sampling density, leading to higher errors and slight overestimation of seabed depths.
