Summary: This study found that increased expression of DIRC1 in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) was associated with clinical-pathologic features such as T stage, race, histologic grade, and anatomic neoplasm subdivision, and high DIRC1 expression predicted poorer overall survival. Genes associated with DIRC1 were found to be related to functions such as epidermis, collagen-containing extracellular matrix, receptor-ligand activity, and protein digestion and absorption. Immune infiltration analysis revealed a strong correlation between DIRC1 and immune cells like macrophages.

Summary: In this study, a ceRNA network was constructed to explore the relationship between ferroptosis-related genes and immune infiltration in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD). It was found that the ferroptosis-related gene SLC1A5 was associated with tumor-infiltrating immune cells and immune checkpoints, suggesting its potential as a prognostic marker and therapeutic target for STAD immunotherapy.

Summary: The study found that the expression of most immune checkpoints is upregulated in STAD and is associated with drug sensitivity, drug resistance, and patient prognosis. Factors such as CD70 and ICOSLG were identified as independent factors affecting the prognosis of STAD patients. Furthermore, the expression of ICOSLG and CD70 is correlated with immune cells, indicating that they may serve as prognostic biomarkers for STAD.

Summary: This study found that NCAPH is overexpressed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and is associated with prognosis and immune infiltrates. High expression of NCAPH is associated with shorter overall survival and decreased progression-free interval and disease-specific survival. In addition, NCAPH is associated with several gene sets and immune cell levels. Knocking down NCAPH can inhibit the malignant phenotype of LUAD cells in vitro.

Summary: This study found that ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2T (UBE2T) is highly expressed in non-small cell lung cancer (LUAD) and is associated with gender, age, advanced clinical stage, and decreased overall survival. Multivariable analysis showed that UBE2T expression is a significant independent diagnostic factor for patients with LUAD. GSEA analysis reveals enrichment of immune-related pathways in samples with high LRMP expression, and LRMP is positively correlated with tumor-infiltrating immune cells and their markers.
