Summary: This study investigated the relationships between anthropometry, dietary and caloric intake, body composition measurements, physical activity, and vitamin D status with bone parameters among medical students. The results showed a high prevalence of vitamin D deficiency, with females exhibiting significantly lower dietary intakes and poorer bone parameters compared to males. Overall body fat and visceral fat were identified as negatively associated determinants of bone strength.

Summary: The study in China found that a warmer climate and prenatal exposure to NO2 may be associated with an increased onset of eczema in preschool children, while postnatal exposure to PM10 and NO2 may be linked to reduced remission. Factors such as dampness, indoor mould, and cockroaches may increase the onset and decrease the remission of eczema. Prenatal exposure to farm environment and large family size could have a protective effect against eczema.

Summary: While China assists its neighbors in maintaining economic and legitimate security in the South China Sea, it also has maritime disputes with them. China ensures a safe and stable surrounding environment by establishing mutual trust and tacit understanding over security. Although Indonesia needs China's investment in the Belt and Road Initiative, the positions of religious organizations, the military, and the president are not always aligned. However, both sides maintain a high level of military deterrence and diplomacy while avoiding military friction and handling issues in a restrained manner.

Summary: Disputes in public-private partnership (PPP) projects are inevitable and can cause significant time and money losses. This paper identifies and assesses the causes of disputes between the public and private sectors in PPP. By analyzing litigation cases and using the DEMATEL method, the study shows that contract repudiation, lack of expertise, and unreasonable risk allocation are the top causes of PPP disputes. Strategies to avoid disputes are proposed to minimize conflicts in PPP projects.

Summary: This article explores the establishment of specialty mediation committees by the Chinese government in the 2010s and how mediators address social grievances, using data on medical dispute resolution. Specialization of mediation institutions, politicization measures, and affective and bargaining strategies contribute to a high mediation rate. Various factors, such as timing, potential group petitioning disputes, and disputants' bargaining power, may shape mediators' strategies in the process.
