In recent years, chlorinated polyfluoroalkyl ether sulfonic acid (Cl-PFESA, trade name: F-53B), one of the alternatives to perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS), has been widely detected in environmental matrices and organisms in China. However, sufficient information regarding its presence in seafood is not available.
