Summary: This study examined the impact of COVID-19 policies on medication and telemedicine abortion care delivery in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia, highlighting how restrictive policies created barriers for patients seeking abortion during the pandemic. Permanently lifting federal regulations on mifepristone would only benefit those in states without restrictive telehealth and medication abortion policies.

Summary: This paper examined how the domestic gag rule by the Trump administration affected discussions about abortion within healthcare organizations. The study found that organizational characteristics and Title X policy utilization did not explain the diversity in approaches to abortion referral among different organizations. The level of restriction on abortion discussions within organizations was influenced by administrators' institutional entrepreneurship.

Summary: The recent changes in abortion provision landscape have made it harder for people to access abortion care, leading to concerns about how people choose abortion facilities. This study found that social myths play a role in shaping people's perceptions and risks associated with seeking abortion care. People's strategies for selecting an abortion clinic include drawing on previous experience, consulting others online, discerning reputation through name recognition, and considering location factors.
