Summary: The lncRNA SNHG6 plays a key role in the tumorigenesis and progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by reducing the mRNA levels of specific proteins and facilitating their degradation. SNHG6 interacts with HNRNPL and PTBP1 to promote the decay of SETD7 and LZTFL1 mRNA, thereby serving as a potential therapeutic target for HCC.

Summary: This study identifies a CNV-induced lncRNA, MAT1, that plays an oncogenic role in promoting tumorigenesis of uveal melanoma. MAT1 interrupts the interaction between the MLL1 complex and the PCDH20 promoter, leading to the abolishment of H3K4 trimethylation and inactivation of tumor suppressor PCDH20 transcription, thereby accelerating tumorigenesis.

Summary: The study identified that high expression of LINC02381 in osteosarcoma was associated with advanced clinical progress and poor clinical outcome. LINC02381 could down-regulate CDCA4 by sponging miR-503-5p, participating in regulating the proliferation, migration, and invasion of osteosarcoma cells.

Summary: This study revealed that SNHG11 is highly expressed in LUAD cells, and down-regulation of SNHG11 can inhibit the viability, proliferation, migration of LUAD cells, and tumor growth. SNHG11 activates the Notch pathway by regulating Notch3, and competitively binds with miR-193a-5p to up-regulate Notch3.

Summary: In this study, the role and mechanism of long non-coding RNA MAFG-DT in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) were explored. The results showed that MAFG-DT expression was elevated in HCC tissues and was associated with the malignant degree, recurrence, and mortality of the tumors. Further experiments confirmed that MAFG-DT inhibited the growth and migration of HCC cells through regulating the miR-339-5p/CDC25A pathway.

Summary: ANRIL accelerates wound healing in DFU by modulating the HIF1A/VEGFA signaling pathway in a FUS-dependent manner. Mechanistically, ANRIL regulates the mRNA stability of HIF1A by recruiting FUS. The results of this study indicate that the ANRIL/HIF1A axis inhibits EPC proliferation, migration, invasion, and angiogenesis while promoting apoptosis.

Summary: This study demonstrates that SNHG25 is upregulated in glioma cells and tissues, and its knockdown inhibits glioma cell proliferation and tumor growth. SNHG25 positively regulates MAPK signaling through sponging miR-579-5p and activating MAP2K2. Therefore, SNHG25 may serve as a potential target and biomarker for glioma.

Summary: NR038975 is a novel lncRNA that is significantly upregulated in gastric cancer tissues, and its increased expression is associated with lymph node metastasis and TNM stage. Knockdown of NR038975 inhibits gastric cancer cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and clonogenicity by disrupting the interaction between NF90 and NF45, suggesting its potential as a diagnostic marker and therapeutic target for gastric cancer.

Summary: This study demonstrates that ROR1-AS1 acts as an oncogene in osteosarcoma by regulating miR-504 expression and influencing cell migration and proliferation. The expression of ROR1-AS1 is lower in osteosarcoma tissues compared to non-tumor samples, showing a negative correlation with miR-504 expression.

Summary: This study aims to investigate the role of DNM3OS in regulating the growth of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells through the DNMT1/FOXO3a pathway. LncRNAs related to liver cancer were identified through the LncRNADisease v2.0 database. DNM3OS was found to promote methylation of the FOXO3a promoter region and inhibit FOXO3a transcription, thereby acting as an oncogene in liver cancer progression. The findings provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying HCC.

Summary: This study found that upregulation of the glycolytic enzyme enolase 2 (ENO2) in colorectal cancer (CRC) samples was negatively associated with prognosis. Furthermore, the study showed that ENO2 promotes CRC cell migration and invasion through its interaction with the long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) CYTOR. CYTOR mediates the binding of ENO2 to large tumor suppressor 1 (LATS1) and competitively inhibits the phosphorylation of Yes-associated protein 1 (YAP1), ultimately triggering epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT).

Summary: This study reveals that the m(6)A reading protein YTHDF3 plays a critical role in ocular melanoma by promoting the translation of the target gene CTNNB1, contributing to tumor propagation and migration. YTHDF3 is highly expressed in ocular melanoma stem-like cells and is related to poor clinical prognosis. It is also essential for the maintenance of cancer stem-like cell properties and tumor initiation capacity.
