Summary: Early childhood is a critical period for the formation of movement behavior patterns. Stakeholder engagements were conducted to inform the design of strategies to disseminate movement guidelines in early childhood education (ECE) settings. Findings show that teachers were aware but had limited knowledge of the guidelines, while parents and domestic workers had limited awareness and knowledge. Parent engagement, ECE center activities, home-school cooperation, and community activities enable the uptake of the guidelines, but challenges include time constraints, curriculum requirements, limited physical spaces, social values, and pandemic-related restrictions. Dissemination strategies should provide knowledge content and support stakeholders in mitigating challenges.
