Summary: This study identifies interleukin-7 receptor-alpha as a key cargo in proliferating CD4+ T cells within the autophagosomal compartment using a transgenic mouse model. Moreover, the authors uncover the mechanism by which excessive surface interleukin-7 receptor-alpha affects T cell proliferation.

Summary: Periostin plays a key role in enhancing macrophage foam cell formation induced by Ang II, by suppressing cholesterol efflux, and its expression is regulated by oxLDL and Twist2-mediated transactivation. In patients with atherosclerosis, there is a significant positive correlation between serum periostin and Ang II levels.

Summary: The study reveals that regulating Treg functionality and DC activation status is crucial for generating a T cell effector response in highly radioresistant HNSCC tumors. The findings suggest a new therapeutic approach for reprogramming the tumor microenvironment in HNSCCs resistant to conventional radioimmunotherapy.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the role of ARF1 in intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) and reveal the possible mechanism. The results showed that ARF1 is essential for ISC proliferation and differentiation. Loss of ARF1 increased susceptibility to DSS-induced colitis and gut microbial dysbiosis. Additionally, RNA-seq analysis revealed alterations in multiple metabolic pathways.

Summary: This study proposes a sustainable recovery framework that evaluates the recovery level of families and communities from three dimensions: Element, Structure, and Function. Through surveys and interviews in four towns in Wenchuan County, Mainland China, the internal mechanisms that influence sustainable recovery were identified. Practical recommendations are provided to improve disaster recovery management. This framework can assist in the development of recovery standards and evaluations at different levels in China and other parts of the world.
