The mixed-spin Ising model with the crystal-field and the external electric field is used to describe an antiferroelectric/ferroelectric BiFeO3/YMnO3 bilayer structure. Using Monte Carlo simulation, we discuss the polarization plateaus and the hysteresis behaviors of the bilayer structure under the influence of different physical parameters. The results illustrate that the crystal-field, the exchange coupling and the external electric field have important roles in the low-temperature dielectric properties and multiple electric hysteresis loops of the antiferroelectric/ferroelectric BiFeO3/YMnO3 bilayer structure.
