Summary: This study described and analyzed the initial experience of robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) using the Senhance (R) robotic system in our institution, showing a significant decrease in operative time and blood loss. Attention should be paid to reducing margin positivity and complication rates during surgery.

Summary: The study compared the outcomes of RP surgery using the Senhance robotic system to laparoscopic technique, finding no significant differences in operative time, blood loss, and hospital stay. For surgeons with prior laparoscopic experience, transitioning to robotic surgery is safe and offers comparable results.

Summary: This study presents a 3-year experience with the Senhance Surgical System, a novel robotic platform used in University Hospital Centre Zagreb since February 2019. Data were collected for 200 patients who underwent extraperitoneal robotic radical prostatectomy from May 2019 to March 2022. The results demonstrate that RRP performed with the Senhance robotic platform is a feasible and safe procedure with good initial outcomes.

Summary: This study evaluated the safety, feasibility, and efficacy of the extraperitoneal tissue retraction technique in extraperitoneal pure single-port robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy (sp-RARP) with the da Vinci Si surgical system. The results showed that the technique is safe and feasible, providing tissue exposure and expanding the surgical working space.

Summary: Robotic radical prostatectomy has become a standard of care in the treatment of localized prostate cancer. Senhance, a newly approved robotic platform, was found to be feasible and safe for the procedure based on two prospective case series studies involving 234 patients. Both studies reported similar operative time and blood loss compared to laparoscopy.

Summary: This study presented the experience in urological surgeries using the Senhance(R) robotic surgery system for upper urinary tract operations and extraperitoneal radical robotic prostatectomies. The average estimated blood loss, operating time, and length of hospital stay varied slightly between the two groups of patients, with low rates of complications.

Summary: This study investigated the safety profile and short-term outcome of super-veil nerve-sparing extraperitoneal single-port robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy (espRARP). The results showed that this surgical technique is safe and feasible, and combined with super-veil nerve-sparing procedures, it can provide satisfactory functional recovery in the short term.

Summary: Different robotic systems have been widely used in human surgery since 2000, but pediatric patients require specific features that are lacking in commonly used systems. The study evaluates the feasibility, ease, and safety of using the Senhance(R) robotic system in pediatric patients, and concludes that it is a safe and effective device with advantages over other systems.

Summary: This study compared the outcomes of Senhance RP (SRP) and da Vinci RP (DRP) procedures in radical prostatectomy. The results showed that both procedures were comparable in terms of safety and short-term outcomes. For experienced laparoscopic surgeons, using the Senhance system for RP was straightforward. Overall, the Senhance system may serve as a safe and effective alternative for robotic RP.

Summary: Surgical experience significantly affects perioperative and pathological parameters in RARP and ORP. RARP has a higher initial pT2-PSM rate and lower lymph node yield than ORP. This is crucial for patient selection in novice teaching of RARP.
