Summary: This study identifies the relationship between parental health literacy levels and anthropometric measurements of children in Turkey. The results show that parental health literacy levels are associated with education level, income status, and employment status. Adequate levels of parental health literacy also have a positive effect on children's health status and anthropometric measurements.

Summary: A family history of colorectal cancer is a major risk factor for colorectal cancer in China. This study aimed to examine the mediating effects of health beliefs on the relationship between health-promoting lifestyle and health information literacy among first-degree relatives of colorectal cancer patients. The results showed that health information literacy and health beliefs are key factors associated with a health-promoting lifestyle among first-degree relatives with colorectal cancer.

Summary: The obesity problem is threatening personal and public health systems globally, especially among young adults. Developing healthy eating habits and improving food and health promotion literacy competencies have been identified as the best prevention methods. A study in South Korea found that food literacy and health promotion literacy are positively associated with young adults' healthy eating habits. Gender also moderates the relationships between these literacies and healthy eating habits.

Summary: This study aims to explore the association between health literacy (HL) and COVID-19 knowledge among residents in Ningbo. A total of 6,336 residents aged 15-69 years were selected and the Health Literacy Questionnaire was used to evaluate the relationship. The results showed that COVID-19 knowledge was significantly associated with HL, and improving HL may influence people's knowledge and behaviors related to the pandemic.

Summary: This study investigated the mental health literacy, overall adaptation, and mental health of university freshers, and explored the influence of mental health literacy on overall adaptation and mental health, as well as the mediating role of overall adaptation. The results showed that mental health literacy was positively correlated with overall adaptation and mental health. Overall adaptation played a mediating role in the impact of mental health literacy on mental health. Gender also played a moderating role in the effects of overall adaptation on mental health.
