Summary: Academic dishonesty refers to unethical or undeserved behavior by students in an educational setting. This study investigated the levels of e-dishonesty among 223 postgraduate students in education faculties in Turkey, as well as the relationship between e-dishonesty and self-esteem. The results showed a low level of e-dishonesty among the participants, and a significant and negative, low-level relationship between e-dishonesty and self-esteem. The study also found that master's students were more likely to engage in e-dishonesty compared to PhD students, and those with 1-3 years of computer use experience were also more likely to engage in e-dishonesty.

Summary: This paper aims to explore the influence and influence mechanism of national culture on IPO. The results show that culture as a non-institutional force significantly affects IPO underpricing, and culture with high uncertainty avoidance, high tightness, and low trust enhances the effects of other factors on IPO underpricing.

Summary: The influence of pre-culture conditions on population heterogeneity in batch cultures of Escherichia coli was studied. It was found that the type of pre-culture medium had the largest impact on population heterogeneities. Harvest time points and inoculation density also had an effect on population heterogeneity.

Summary: The study on the grinding characteristics of reinforced concrete samples and the wear surfaces of diamond tools revealed that the different physical and mechanical properties of cement and rebar materials lead to variations in grinding depths and debris. Additionally, the heterogeneity affects the grinding process of diamond cutters, with the grinding depths ranked in descending order as rebar, granite, cement, and rubber.

Summary: The use of deception in research is controversial, with psychologists arguing its necessity for unbiased measures and economists claiming it can generate suspicion and invalidate measurements. This study found that false-purpose deception did not affect honesty in incentivized tasks, but participants had reservations about researcher use of deception.

Summary: According to the theory of informal institutions, culture plays a crucial role in shaping corporate social responsibility. This study examines the impact of Chinese traditional culture on corporate environmental responsibility using a panel data model. The findings reveal that Chinese traditional culture promotes the performance of corporate environmental responsibility. Moreover, its influence varies based on ownership, industry pollution levels, and geographical differences.

Summary: Soil fertility is crucial for potato production, and this study introduces a tissue culture system to investigate the effects of essential nutrients on potato plants. By modifying the nutrient concentrations in the culture medium, different nutrient statuses were created and found to significantly impact plant growth and nutrient uptake.

Summary: By utilizing fractal theory, this study examines the pore structure and microheterogeneity characteristics of the low-permeability sandstone reservoir in the Sanjianfang formation of the QL oilfield. The results reveal a correlation between the complexity of the pore structure and the extent of microheterogeneity.

Summary: Academic cheating is a global issue, with perceived peer cheating exacerbating the problem. This meta-analysis study found that the perceived peer cheating effect is of intermediate strength, and perceived peer cheating is considered one of the most significant factors associated with students' academic cheating. The impact of perceived peer cheating varies across different cultural backgrounds, with a stronger effect observed in cultures high in power distance, collectivism, long-term orientation, restraint, and low in uncertainty avoidance and religiosity. The findings indicate that peers' behavior plays a crucial role in students' academic cheating, emphasizing the need to consider peer influences and cultural factors in developing effective strategies to promote academic integrity.

Summary: Research on behavioral misconduct and ethics has mostly relied on lab experiments and surveys, but this introduction suggests complementing these methods with behavioral data from field settings. The article presents four classes of behavioral field research, discussing their strengths and weaknesses, and provides examples from relevant papers. It also explores key opportunities and challenges facing behavioral field researchers and emphasizes the importance of combining methodological approaches for a comprehensive understanding of misconduct and unethical behavior.

Summary: The study found that high salinity and high illumination conditions are beneficial for the growth rate of the cyanobacterial strain. Conversely, lower illumination led to significantly increased production of phycocyanin and other cyanobacterial pigments. Additionally, phycocyanin production was highest at all salinities, and chlorophyll-a content was higher under lower illumination.

Summary: The objective of this study is to improve understanding of the geostatistics of vertical permeability and its impact on CO2 enhanced oil recovery and storage. The research found that vertical permeability plays an equally important role as horizontal permeability in evaluating the influence on reservoir performance. The study provides insights on the geological factors influencing vertical permeability and how to interpret and model it accurately for CO2 flow simulations.
