Summary: With the increasing scale of communication networks, the importance of robust routing algorithms is highlighted. This paper presents a conceptual design of robust routing mechanisms that are simple and generic, with the goal of avoiding complexity. The paper also showcases a scheme for constructing a reinforced network that can tolerate a large number of independent random faults.

Summary: This article examines the stability and parameter conditions of smooth fuzzy control systems, showing that they do not require a common Lyapunov function and exhibit high robustness. Comparisons with classical fuzzy models demonstrate the superior performance of smooth fuzzy models with respect to noise and parameter uncertainties.

Summary: In this article, an opensource, low-cost, and easy-to-use microfluidic pressure controller was developed to introduce liquids into microfluidic devices under constant pressures. The controller can be operated through displays, an encoder, or a personal computer, and is suitable for different flow-based lab-on-a-chip applications. The results obtained with the pressure controller showed stable generation regimes for at least 4 hours.

Summary: In this article, a fast and robust control system is introduced for a buck converter to efficiently stabilize a dc bus with constant power loads (CPLs). The proposed controller utilizes the internal converter dynamics and eliminates the integrating term commonly used in literature, resulting in a simple yet robust structure and performance. A two-step algorithm is presented for the controller design, which only requires two parameters. Detailed analysis, simulations, and experimental results confirm the desired performance and superiority of the proposed controller over a state-of-the-art controller.

Summary: This paper proposes a nonlinear controller for stabilizing the DC/DC full-bridge converter feeding negative impedance loads and adopts the soft actor-critic algorithm based on deep reinforcement learning for parameter tuning. A reward signal is defined to train neural networks. The feasibility of the proposed scheme is verified using a Hardware-in-the-Loop approach.

Summary: This article presents an improved method to determine saturation pressure by capturing the expansion behavior of the overall fluid through attraction and covolume parameters. The reliability of this new method was demonstrated by comparing it with conventional methods in identifying saturation pressures for volatile oils, gas condensates, and near-critical fluids.

Summary: This paper presents a new problem of designing a robust delay-dependent PID multivariable output feedback controller for linear uncertain time delay systems with nonlinear parameter perturbations using a LMI approach. It formulates less conservative stability conditions using LMIs and employs Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, free weighting matrices, and Wirtinger inequality techniques to improve performance. The proposed approach efficiently synthesizes controller gain matrices by decoupling input and output gain matrices through a strict LMI technique.
