However, the overwhelming confidence that western science holds as the supreme epistemology in health professions research and education is questionable. The dominance of western epistemic frames affects how research is conducted and what is considered important in health professions education. This may silence marginalized voices and prevent legitimate contributions to the field.

The findings reveal that debt has significant effects on savings, housing, leisure, discretionary spending, and family planning.
