Summary: The study revealed dysregulation of pyrimidine metabolism in GC and established a prognostic model based on differentially expressed genes in pyrimidine metabolism, confirming the reliability and independence of the model. Additionally, nomograms were created to visually depict the survival rate of GC patients according to important clinical factors, including the risk model.

Summary: This study investigated the expression of PD-L1 and HER2 in gastric cancer tissues and their correlation with clinical-pathological features and prognosis. PD-L1 expression was associated with gender, regional lymph node, metastasis, and survival status, while HER2 expression was related to tumor differentiation, regional lymph node, and TNM stage. PD-L1-positive patients had longer survival time, and PD-L1 expression was identified as an independent prognostic factor in gastric cancer.

Summary: The study identified Hsa_circ_0007507 as a potential biomarker for GC diagnosis and prognosis, showing higher expression levels in GC patients. It also demonstrated that serum Hsa_circ_0007507 lacked specificity for colorectal, thyroid, and breast cancer patients. Diagnostic efficacy analysis indicated that Hsa_circ_0007507 performed better in distinguishing GC patients from normal individuals compared to CEA and CA199.

Summary: APOC1 is upregulated in RCC samples and is correlated with the overall survival of RCC patients. It can stimulate proliferative, migratory, and invasive abilities in RCC cells by targeting the Wnt3a signaling pathway. In vivo knockdown of APOC1 in xenografted nude mice slows down the growth of RCC.

Summary: The study demonstrated that serum HCP5 has potential as a biomarker for early diagnosis of gastric cancer, with reliable repeatability and significant correlation between high expression and gastric cancer. When combined with existing tumor markers, HCP5 can significantly improve diagnostic sensitivity, showing higher specificity in gastric cancer compared to other cancer types.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the effect of cellular senescence on gastric cancer and identify potential therapeutic strategies. By using cellular senescence-related genes and gastric cancer data, a prognostic risk score signature was constructed. The results showed that patients in the low-risk score group had longer survival time and were more sensitive to chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the applicability of the Naples prognostic score (NPS) in gastric cancer (GC) and construct a new NPS for individualized prognosis prediction. The results showed that the new NPS can accurately predict the prognosis of GC patients and can be combined with clinicopathological characteristics to construct a nomogram model.

Summary: Gastric cancer is the 4th most common and 3rd deadliest cancer worldwide. This study investigated the relationship between GRK3 and gastric cancer prognosis and explored the role of GRK3 in gastric cancer development. The researchers found that GRK3 overexpression was significantly associated with metastasis, TNM stage, and vascular invasion. High GRK3 expression was also linked to shorter disease-free survival and overall survival in patients. Knocking down GRK3 in gastric cancer cells inhibited cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. The findings suggest that GRK3 could potentially serve as a biomarker for gastric cancer prognosis and a target for therapy.

Summary: In this study, the expression and role of apoc1 in gastric cancer (GC) were investigated. Elevated expression of apoc1 was found in GC and correlated with poor prognosis. Apoc1 was found to promote cell invasion and migration and may be involved in the WNT pathway and immune regulation. Furthermore, apoc1 was associated with tumor-infiltrating immune cells and drug sensitivity. These findings suggest that apoc1 could be a potential target for detection and immunotherapy in GC.
