Summary: This study conducted Delphi surveys of international experts to summarize the use of intraoperative fluorescence imaging in different surgical scenarios. The results showed that indocyanine green dye is safe and can significantly enhance anatomical visualization and reduce procedural risk. However, the dosing and timing of indocyanine green vary between procedures, and further research is needed for optimization.

Summary: School closures during public health emergencies or natural disasters disrupt school-based health promotion. This study identified innovative health promotion practices delivered during COVID-19 school closures and sought consensus among education experts on their future utility. The findings showed that practices emphasizing awareness of healthy lifestyle behaviors and mental wellness, as well as virtual events, were deemed easy to implement, effective, and cost-effective. Concrete supports and school-student-family connectedness were rated as most likely to reach vulnerable students and families.

Summary: Graduate medical education training in hematology in North America is accredited by ACGME. There is no consensus on best practices for peripheral blood smear (PBS) review. Through focus groups, academic hematologists developed consensus recommendations on PBS education, emphasizing a systematic approach and focusing on red and white blood cell disorders and diseases requiring prompt recognition. These recommendations provide validity to future research and curricular development for visuospatial tasks.

Summary: This study achieved general consensus on the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of lentigo maligna (LM) using the Delphi method. Diagnosis should be based on clinical and dermoscopic examination, and the primary treatment of choice is margin-controlled surgery. Non-surgical modalities like imiquimod can be used as alternative or adjuvant therapy. Lifelong clinical follow-up is necessary for LM.
