In recent past years, results on natural fiber-reinforced composites response are seriously viewed by researcher and industrial community to ensure the real-time service. Exploration on mechanical and tribological properties of several vegetable fibers is available with literature database. Nonetheless, dynamic properties of those composites are more essential to fitting them into service. In this account, few researchers have started to experiment the dynamic stability of vegetable fiber composites at elevated temperature viz., dynamic mechanical analysis at various frequencies and thermogravimetric analysis. Perhaps, the vibration and damping analysis may bring us some good sense on structural stability of those materials. Later, researchers have started to find vibrational response of materials; even then, neither complete nor accurate results/practices are recorded. Therefore, it is indeed to look in deeply the vibrational response of natural fiber-reinforced composites towards anti-vibration applications. An attempt has been made here to review some of the literature published on vibration damping applied to natural fiber-reinforced composites by experimental and numerical methods; the effects of natural fiber reinforcement on vibrational response of both thermoset and thermoplastic polymer matrix are reviewed. Discussions on the effects of several parameters are made to bring comprehensive knowledge on vibrational response of natural fiber-reinforced composites.
