Summary: ISO 9001 is a widely adopted standard that sets requirements for quality management systems. This study investigates the impact of implementing a quality management system based on the ISO 9001 standard on the performance of selected transport companies. The findings show that the selected transport companies experienced significant positive differences in indicators such as profitability of assets, profitability of sales, size, and age after obtaining ISO 9001 certification.

Summary: This study aimed to analyze the main benefits of ISO 9001:2015 implementation and certification in Brazilian companies, revealing improvements in business processes quality, reduction of errors and defects, enhancements in documentation processes, customer satisfaction, as well as cost savings, market share and sales volume improvements. The findings provide valuable insights for academics and managers, and suggest potential opportunities to enhance the benefits of ISO 9001 through different managerial approaches.

Summary: This study emphasizes the importance of quality management and knowledge management in the direct, mediating, and total effect on an organization's process innovations. The double-reflective second-order construct model was analyzed following methodology guidelines, and partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to test hypotheses and investigate relations between latent factors. Results from 264 Serbian companies implementing ISO 9001 standard indicate the direct effect of quality management on process innovations and the mediating effect of knowledge management on process innovation.

Summary: The article advances the knowledge on ISO 9001 implementation by examining the roles of external auditors and certification bodies. The findings show that the quality of external auditors enhances operational outcomes and strengthens the relationship between ISO 9001 implementation and operational outcomes. On the other hand, the reputation of certification bodies has a positive direct effect on market-oriented outcomes and its effect is strengthened by the quality of ISO 9001 implementation.

Summary: This study investigates the causal relationship between the adoption of ISO 9001 quality certification and agri-food exports in Chinese listed firms from 2000 to 2016. The findings suggest that ISO 9001 certification positively affects the exports of agri-food firms and promotes exports through increased innovation activities. Additionally, the export effects are greater for food manufacturing firms and non-state-owned enterprises. These findings have important implications for China's food and agricultural development strategy, emphasizing the transition from quantity expansion to quality enhancement.
