Summary: The study evaluated the clinical significance and role of BZRAP1-AS1 in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It was found that BZRAP1-AS1 expression was lower in tumor tissues and associated with clinical characteristics and prognosis. Overexpression of BZRAP1-AS1 inhibited cell proliferation and migration in NSCLC. BZRAP1-AS1 may serve as a diagnostic marker and therapeutic target for NSCLC.

Summary: The study has demonstrated the significant role of hsa_circ_0003222 in NSCLC progression and resistance, with its high expression associated with disease stage, metastasis, and patient survival rate. Silencing hsa_circ_0003222 led to reduced stemness-like properties and chemoresistance in tumor cells.

Summary: This study revealed that Lnc_ASNR is highly expressed in gastric cancer and promotes cell proliferation, migration, and invasion by regulating the miR-519e-5p/FGFR2 pathway. Lnc_ASNR functions as a ceRNA targeting miR-519e-5p, and its effects are closely related to epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in gastric cancer development.

Summary: This study revealed that ZNF655 is abundantly expressed in NSCLC, and its knockdown can inhibit the malignant behaviors of tumor cells, leading to decreased tumorigenesis. ZNF655 may regulate apoptosis of NSCLC cells through the PI3K/Akt and p53 signaling pathways.

Summary: Non-coding RNA plays a crucial role in oncogenesis and stemness development in various cancers, including lung cancer. MIR31HG, a lncRNA, is significantly upregulated in lung cancer tissues and peripheral sera of patients, indicating a poor prognosis. Mechanistically, MIR31HG promotes stemness-associated malignant features of non-small cell lung cancer cells by modulating GLI2 expression via H3K4me and H3K27Ace modifications mediated by the WDR5/MLL3/P300 complex. In vivo studies showed that repression of MIR31HG attenuated tumor growth and distal organ metastasis, while its promotion encouraged cellular invasion in lung and liver tissues. Hence, MIR31HG has the potential to serve as a diagnostic indicator and therapeutic target for lung cancer patients.

Summary: This study explored the anti-cancer activity of Rutin-loaded liquid crystalline nanoparticles (LCNs) in non-small cell lung cancer cell line, showing promising anti-proliferative and anti-migratory activities, induction of apoptosis, and inhibition of colony formation. These findings provide important insights for further mechanistic studies of Rutin-LCNs as a potential therapeutic option for NSCLC.

Summary: Through analysis, 197 common DELs were identified, and 5 lncRNAs related to patient survival were successfully screened out. A nomogram based on these lncRNAs showed superior prognostic prediction than traditional parameters, and functional analysis indicated their key roles in NSCLC progression. The ceRNA network also suggested a tight connection with tumor progression.

Summary: This study aims to determine the role of long non-coding RNA (LncRNA) MIR22HG in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and explore its mechanism. The results showed that MIR22HG was decreased and miR-9-3p was elevated in SCLC cells compared to normal cells. Overexpression of MIR22HG resulted in decreased cell viability, colony formation, migration, and invasion, but induced apoptosis. MIR22HG could bind to miR-9-3p and negatively regulate its expression. In addition, MIR22HG overexpression elevated SOCS1 by downregulating miR-9-3p expression. In vivo study further confirmed the role of MIR22HG/miR-9-3p in SCLC tumor regulation.

Summary: This study identified a cis-acting lncRNA, HMGA1-lnc, as significantly downregulated in lung adenocarcinoma and showed its negative regulatory effect on the oncogene HMGA1. In vitro experiments demonstrated that inhibition of HMGA1-lnc led to a significant increase in HMGA1 gene expression, suggesting the potential of HMGA1-lnc as a therapeutic target for HMGA1-driven tumors.

Summary: The study reveals that JMJD2C plays a role in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) through the regulation of the MALAT1/miR-503-5p/SEPT2 axis. Increased expression of JMJD2C leads to elevated levels of MALAT1, miR-503-5p, and SEPT2, contributing to tumor progression.
