The serration flow behavior for Cu47Zr47Al6 and (Cu47Zr47Al6)(99)Sn-1 (at. %) bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) was investigated through statistical analysis. The statistical analysis reveals that the (Cu47Zr47Al6)(99)Sn-1 BMG has more stable self-organized critical (SOC) dynamics. The chemical heterogeneities formation in the microstructure has a triple effect on the deformation dynamics, which leads to high ductility for the (Cu47Zr47Al6)(99)Sn-1 BMG. (C) 2018 Elsevier B.V.
