Summary: The economy of the Yellow River basin in China has developed rapidly in recent years, with a series of large bridges being built on both sides of the river. However, risk events often occur during bridge construction, posing a threat to the safety of the bridges' structure. Therefore, it is important to establish a new scientific risk assessment system for the construction safety of bridges across the Yellow River.

Summary: Entropy weight model is widely used for evaluating water quality, but it neglects the importance of pollutants with high pollution levels. To solve this problem, a pollution scale weighting model is proposed based on improved fuzzy variable theory, which quantifies the importance of indicators based on their relative membership to the vague concept of pollution. The model is applied to water quality evaluation of Southeastern Poyang Lake and proves to be effective in highlighting seriously polluted indexes.

Summary: River health assessment is a reliable method to determine the health of riverine ecosystems and provide solutions for conservation and management. However, studies on river health assessment across mountain to urban transitions are limited and insufficient attention has been paid to uncertain environments. This study proposed a novel Pythagorean fuzzy cloud-TOPSIS model to systematically investigate river health with uncertainty using the Pi River in China as a case study. The results showed the developed models expanded the capabilities of current techniques and offered a more efficient way to deal with river health assessment under uncertainty. The study emphasized the impacts of urban development, agricultural practices, and dam construction on river health in the Pi River.

Summary: Biogas power generation in China is lacking in industrialization, and the regional suitability for this industry needs to be evaluated. This study constructs an evaluation index system and proposes a multilevel fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The results show an unbalanced distribution among regions, with the eastern region being superior to the western region. Henan and Hebei are the most suitable regions for development, while Ningxia, Hainan, Qinghai, and Tibet are not. The suitability of biogas power generation matches the development level in most regions, except for Sichuan and Jiangsu.

Summary: A new picture fuzzy entropy measure is proposed in this paper and it is proved to satisfy the axiomatic definition of entropy measures for picture fuzzy sets. The justification of the proposed measure is established through discussing its specific cases and comparing it with existing entropy measures. In the case where criteria weights are partially known, an entropy-based method is used to produce objective weights. An integrated picture fuzzy TODIM-ELECTRE model is proposed to combine the advantages of PFSs, TODIM, and ELECTRE. The superiority of the new model is verified through a numerical example and comparative study.

Summary: This study aims to conduct a decision-making evaluation research on the effect of GNSS spoofing based on the technical evaluation results. However, there are limitations associated with realizing the efficient transition from the technical to decision-making evaluation. The optimized reduction in the technical evaluation system needs to be investigated by improved methods to overcome the limitations and enhance the correlations between performance indices and the optimal evaluation result.

Summary: This paper introduces bankruptcy theory into the cooperative game model to address the issue of insufficient information in water resource allocation in the Tarim River Basin. The stability of allocation results under different scenarios is evaluated using BASI, and the HWEE is established to assess the harmony of water resources, economy, and environment. The study shows that the improved model has better practical application, stability, and applicability.

Summary: In this study, an integrated life cycle assessment-fuzzy synthetic evaluation model is developed to help select the optimal site remediation plan. The model incorporates life cycle impacts into comprehensive suitability evaluation and is applied to a case study of an abandoned chemical industrial site. The results show that the alternative with mixed use of ex-situ thermal desorption and in-situ containment could be the optimal plan.

Summary: Various fuzzy sets have been developed to model uncertainty, with the spherical fuzzy set (SFS) concept being one of the recent developments. The study extends the ARAS multiple attribute decision-making approach into a spherical fuzzy environment, integrating entropy-based and OWA operator-based objective attribute weights. This helps to address drawbacks of subjective weighting, such as longer data collection time and manipulation risk.
