Summary: This systematic review examines the prevalence of suicide and related behaviors among nurses and midwives. The findings show that nursing professionals, especially females, are at increased risk of suicide, particularly by self-poisoning. Factors contributing to this risk include psychiatric disorders, alcohol and substance misuse, physical health problems, and occupational and interpersonal difficulties.

Summary: The majority of studies identified contributory factors related to the road environment, cycling infrastructure, and cyclist and driver behavior, but few specifically examined causal relationships between these factors. There is a need for more expansive research into systemic factors involved in bicycle crashes and the development of new data sources and analysis methods.

Summary: Infertility has become a common issue in recent decades, with microbiological factors playing a significant role. Dysbiosis of vaginal microbiota is linked to female infertility, but the impact of normal vaginal microbiota on fertility remains unclear. This review focuses on the bacterial adherence of vaginal Lactobacillus species, hypothesizing its potential influence on host fertility, and also examines the effects of other bacteria, especially Escherichia coli, on ejaculated spermatozoa.

Summary: Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) is a major concern for patients and clinicians, with 40% of cases being idiopathic. Recent advances in reproductive biology have shed light on the role of spermatozoa in early embryonic development, leading to a greater understanding of male contributory factors in idiopathic RPL (iRPL).

Summary: The study identified a significant increase in food recalls and alerts associated with labelling errors, with undeclared allergens being the most common type. Baked goods, ready-to-eat meals, and confectionary were the most affected food categories. The root causes of most labelling errors remain unknown or unreported, emphasizing the need for further investigation and documentation.

Summary: Understanding the relationship between social disparities and traffic crash frequency is crucial for transportation planning and policymaking. This study examines the impact of socioeconomic and infrastructure-related disparities on traffic crash rates at a macro-level. The findings suggest that the Multiscale Geographically Weighted Regression (MGWR) model is effective in uncovering spatial relationships between contributing factors and different types of crashes. Improving infrastructure in low-income areas can lead to significant benefits in reducing crashes.

Summary: This study investigates the effects of physical and biochemical factors on the formation of sperm bundles in bull sperm. It is found that fluid viscosity does not significantly influence sperm bundling, but swim-up, post-thaw migration time, and suppressed capacitation increase the occurrence of sperm bundles.

Summary: The key to learning from past incidents lies in identifying the underlying causes and contributory factors. Text data on incident narratives has been accumulated over the years, but the unstructured nature of the data impedes generating insights on occurring patterns of incidents. This research applies natural language processing and text mining techniques to understand contributing factors and causations behind incidents in the pipeline industry.

Summary: IntroductionNonobstructive azoospermia (NOA) is a common and severe form of male infertility. Microdissection testicular sperm extraction (microTESE) combined with intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is an optimal treatment for men with NOA. However, the outcomes and affecting factors of ICSI for NOA patients with different etiologies receiving microTESE treatment are still unclear.
