Summary: A participatory engagement process was conducted to develop electronic health record (EHR)-based clinical decision support (CDS) tools for social risk-informed care plan adjustments in community health centers (CHCs). The priorities identified by the partners included tools for social risk screening and documentation, adjustment of medication costs, and changing follow-up plans based on reported social risks. These CDS tools were designed to enhance patients' ability to adhere to care plans by consistently tailoring care to their social context.

Summary: This study analyzed the attributes of online travel reviews that influence online travel purchasing decisions. In Study 1, a scale called perceived value of online travel reviews (PVOTR) was developed and validated. The PVOTR scale, based on literature review and Fuzzy Delphi Method, has six dimensions. It was validated with data from 69 undergraduate students and 485 travelers in Taiwan. In Study 2, the impact of PVOTR on the online travel purchasing attitudes of another 469 travelers in Taiwan was examined. PVOTR significantly influenced online travel purchasing attitudes through the mediation of reduced perceived complexity.

Summary: This study analyzed data from a trial comparing intensive blood pressure lowering with standard treatment, and found that intensive treatment was associated with a lower proportion of deaths and a higher proportion of patients alive with serious adverse events but no major adverse cardiovascular events compared to standard treatment.

Summary: This study explores midwives' experiences of facilitating informed decision-making, focusing on third-stage management. The findings indicate that midwives value informed decision-making as fundamental to their philosophy, but face barriers such as power imbalances and a loss of skills in physiological birth. However, there are also enabling factors, including continuity models of care and quality antenatal education.

Summary: This paper introduces a method for determining land-use policy based on local risk-acceptance criteria and societal cost-benefit analysis, demonstrated through a case study in India. The study finds that in developing countries like India, higher land prices compared to labor productivity lead to cost-benefit favoring LUP policies based on relatively relaxed risk acceptance criteria.

Summary: This study aimed to evaluate the added effect of a culturally sensitive educational video (CSEV) on informed decision-making (IDM) regarding cervical cancer screening participation among Turkish and Moroccan women in the Netherlands. Through a randomized intervention study, the CSEV was found to result in more positive screening attitudes, especially among Moroccan women. The intervention can contribute to better reach and more informed decision-making for cervical cancer screening among these women.

Summary: This study proposes a reliable hybrid simulation-optimization approach combining scenario analysis and risk analysis to optimize the scheduling of energy-intensive processes. The approach is demonstrated with real data from a cryogenic air separation plant in Tarragona, Spain, and can be easily adapted to other energy-intensive sectors such as cement, metallurgy, or pulp and paper.

Summary: The study aims to fill a knowledge gap by measuring the relative influence of perceived risk of sound and prey patch quality on decision-making and foraging success in grey seals. Results suggest that foraging context is important in interpreting avoidance behavior and predicting the effects of anthropogenic activities. Future studies should consider foraging context and other contextual factors such as behavioral state and habitat quality.

Summary: Despite skepticism, cryptocurrencies continue to attract the interest of scholars, investors, media, and regulators. This study examines the portfolio risk and diversification benefits of the most tradable cryptocurrencies. By utilizing historical data from 2016 to 2022, the research finds that higher expected returns offset higher risk and a portfolio with 10 cryptocurrencies offers better optimization than one with five. The results highlight the potential diversification benefits of the 15 most traded cryptocurrencies for crypto and institutional investors.
