In this paper, we consider a broadcasting process in which information is propagated from a given root node on a noisy tree network, and answer the question that whether the symbols at the nth level of the tree contain non-vanishing information of the root as n goes to infinity. Although the reconstruction problem on the tree has been studied in numerous contexts including information theory, mathematical genetics and statistical physics, the existing literatures with rigorous reconstruction thresholds established are very limited. In the remarkable work of Borgs et al. (in: 47th Annual IEEE Symposium on Foundations of Computer Science, FOCS, IEEE Computer Society, 2006), the exact threshold for the reconstruction problem for a binary asymmetric channel on the d-ary tree is establish, provided that the asymmetry is sufficiently small, which is the first exact reconstruction threshold obtained in roughly a decade. In this paper, by means of refined analyses of moment recursion on a weighted version of the magnetization, and concentration investigations, we rigorously give a complete answer to the question of how small it needs to be to establish the tightness of the reconstruction threshold and further determine its asymptotics of large degrees.

Hydrogen-bond super-amphiphile based drug delivery system: design, synthesis, and biological evaluation

Summary: Drug delivery systems (DDSs) have great potential in tumor therapy. Two common strategies for constructing DDSs are physical encapsulation and covalent grafting. However, these methods suffer from limitations such as low drug loading capacity and reduced drug activity. In this study, a new DDS based on self-assembly induced by hydrogen bonds was designed, which showed high drug loading capacity, stability, and pH-triggered drug release. The DDS was efficiently ingested by tumor cells and exhibited similar anticancer ability to the free drug. This hydrogen bond-based DDS represents a promising drug delivery system for tumor therapy.

Summary: This study analyzed the effect of adding the interspace between the popliteal artery and capsule of the knee (IPACK) in postoperative pain management for total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The results showed that IPACK can reduce postoperative pain scores, decrease morphine usage, and promote functional recovery without increasing the risk of complications.

Summary: The study aims to evaluate the efficacy of preoperative oral electrolyte-carbohydrate nutrition supplement in patients aged over 65 years undergoing total knee arthroplasty. The results showed that the administration of oral electrolyte-carbohydrate nutrition supplement significantly improved subjective comfort, electrolytes, and blood glucose without increasing the rates of complications in older patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty.

The results showed that LIA + IPACK and LIA groups had lower pain scores, less opioid consumption, and better functional results compared to the IPACK group.

Prevention of skin damages related to personal protective equipment among healthcare workers: Summary of best-evidence practiced strategies

Summary: This study evaluated the quality of literature on the prevention of skin damage caused by personal protective equipment among healthcare workers and summarized the best-evidence practice strategies. A total of 10 qualified studies, including guidelines, practice recommendations, and expert consensus, were included. Thirty best-evidence practice strategies were identified, covering cleaning, moisturizing, prophylactic dressings, and other aspects. However, the literature on this topic is limited and of slightly low quality, indicating the need for more high-quality research to focus on healthcare workers' health beyond just skin issues.

Predictors Associated with Forgotten Knee in Patients with Total Knee Arthroplasty Based on Multivariable Linear Regression

Summary: This study aimed to identify the predictors for forgotten joints in patients with total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The findings showed that sex, combined musculoskeletal disorders (MSD), operation time, previous forgotten joint score (T3), range of motion (ROM) (T6), pain score (T6), Groningen orthopaedic social support scale (GO-SSS) score (T6), and anxiety (T6) were the main predictors associated with the forgotten joint score at 6 months after surgery.
