Summary: In this study, the function of circUSP13 in goat myogenic differentiation was investigated. The results showed that circUSP13 promotes differentiation and inhibits apoptosis in goat primary myoblasts by interacting with miR-29c and regulating the expression of IGF1. This study identifies circUSP13 as a potential molecular marker for breeding programs and suggests the circUSP13-miR-29c-IGF1 axis as a therapeutic target for combating muscle wasting.

Summary: This study explored the mechanism of the lncRNA NR2F1-AS1/miR-483-3p/IGF1 axis in azacitidine resistance in THP-1 cells. The results showed that NR2F1-AS1 and IGF1 were highly expressed, while miR-483-3p expression was significantly decreased in THP1-Aza cells. NR2F1-AS1 affected the sensitivity of THP-1 cells to azacitidine resistance by regulating the miR-483-3p/IGF1 axis.

Summary: Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) promote the malignant progression of multiple myeloma (MM) by releasing miR-483-5p through exosomes and regulating the miR-483-5p/TIMP2 axis.

Summary: The research indicates that TNF signaling mediates myogenesis defects in DM1 and may regulate myogenesis in DM1 downstream of miR-322/-503. Inhibiting TNF signaling benefits myogenesis defects in DM1, providing a novel therapeutic strategy for the disease.

Summary: This study investigated the association between hsa-miR-320a-3p and hsa-miR-483-5p levels in human ovarian granulosa cells and embryo developmental competence. The results showed that high levels of hsa-miR-320a-3p and hsa-miR-483-5p were associated with lower rates of successful fertilization and blastocyst formation in in vitro fertilization cycles. These miRNAs can be used as potential negative indicators to predict good-quality embryos and live births.

Summary: The study revealed that miR-186-3p targets IGF1 and inhibits the proliferation and migration of CC cells while inducing apoptosis. IGF1 can reverse the effects of miR-186-3p on CC cell behaviors. This suggests that targeting IGF1 by miR-186-3p may play a crucial role in regulating CC progression.

Summary: This study aimed to develop potential biomarkers for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) by sequencing small non-coding RNA (sncRNA) in circulating exosomes. The expression levels of hsa-miR-335-5p and hsa-miR-486-5p were found to be higher in RA patients compared to healthy controls, while the expression of the SRSF4 gene was decreased. These findings suggest that circulating exosomal miRNAs and SRSF4 could serve as valuable biomarkers for RA.

Summary: This study found that miR-483-5p is decreased in kidney tissues of diabetic mice and in tubular epithelial cells stimulated with high glucose, but increased in exosomes derived from diabetic mouse kidney tissues. miR-483-5p inhibits fibrosis-related gene expressions by binding to TIMP2 and MAPK1, thus alleviating the progression of DN-induced renal interstitial fibrosis.

Summary: Primary antiphospholipid syndrome (PAPS) is an autoimmune disease characterized by recurrent thrombosis and obstetric morbidity. In this study, we found that circulating small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) were increased in PAPS patients, mainly originating from activated platelets. These sEVs contained specific miRNAs, including miR-483-3p and miR-326, which were associated with endothelial cell proliferation and monocyte activation, respectively. Our findings suggest that miRNA-derived sEVs play a role in the pathogenesis of APS.
