Summary: Persistent dizziness and balance problems after mmTBI can lead to significant disability. This study aimed to identify factors associated with dizziness-related disability one year after injury. The findings showed that pre-injury comorbidity, neck pain, increased post-concussion symptom burden, increased dizziness symptom severity, and reduced balance and mobility were all associated with dizziness-related disability at one year.

Summary: COVID-19 patients with long-lasting symptoms benefited from a coordination team, but the efficacy of the therapeutic strategy still needs to be determined. Phone consultations and personalized support showed some improvement in symptoms and ability to return to work after 15 and 22 months of COVID infection. Common symptoms such as fatigue and neurocognitive disorders did not resolve, but dyspnea, anxiety, and chest pain were significantly reduced.

Summary: COVID-19-related GBS appears to have a better clinical outcome than GBS that is not COVID-19 related, and a higher than usual prevalence of acute motor axonal neuropathy form was encountered. More follow-up studies are needed to understand whether the recovery of GBS related to COVID-19 might be different from that of GBS unrelated to COVID-19.

Summary: The study found that a multidisciplinary rehabilitation program led to a significant increase in work ability. High self-perceived health was associated with higher work ability at 12 months, while being married or cohabiting, having more comorbidities, and experiencing medium baseline pain intensity were associated with lower work ability. There were no significant differences in work ability between participants receiving occupational and standard rehabilitation.
