Summary: This study aims to identify and evaluate the impact of community-based Knowledge Translation Strategies (KTS) on maternal, neonatal, and perinatal outcomes. The findings suggest that KTS may reduce maternal, neonatal, and perinatal mortality rates compared to conventional interventions or no intervention at all. However, the certainty of evidence is moderate.

Summary: This study aims to identify evidence-based strategies to improve adherence to COVID-19 preventive measures at the community level. Three strategies were identified: risk communication, health education to the general public, and financial support and access to essential supplies and services. The evidence showed that increasing knowledge, transparent communication, and public awareness can result in changes in attitudes and behavior, leading to increased adherence.

Summary: Persuasive arguments for using theory have been influential in health behavior and health promotion research. However, empirical evaluations have not consistently demonstrated strong effects, which can be attributed to confounding factors, unreliable measurement of theory use, confusion between models and theories, and a lack of consideration for the evidentiary status and applicability of theories. Addressing these challenges could improve research and practice.

Summary: Health-care decision making should be based on the best available evidence, but the identification and use of systematic reviews (SRs) can be difficult due to their number and overlap. Duplicate reviews and primary data analysis are common, highlighting a lack of communication and coordination between health authorities and academia. Integrated knowledge translation (IKT) may be a solution, promoting collaboration between researchers and decision-makers throughout the research process.

Summary: The study aimed to quantify the impact of the South African national health promotion policy (NHPP) on stillbirth and maternal mortality among both the South African population and immigrants. The results showed that NHPP had a greater impact on reducing stillbirth and maternal mortality in the South African population compared to immigrants. These disparities reflect immigrants' inadequate response to the NHPP framework and limited access to the South African health system.
