Summary: The commitment of emerging countries in clean energy development and carbon-neutral goals is crucial. This study examines the role of environmental-related technological innovations (ERT) in achieving climate neutrality in the E7 countries and finds that increasing ERT can significantly reduce carbon emissions. However, these countries still need to make more efforts to transition to cleaner energy sources.

Summary: This study examines the impacts of circular economy innovation (CEI) on the triple bottom lines (TBL) efficiencies and market competitiveness among production SMEs in emerging economies. The findings reveal that CEI has a positive significant effect on market competitiveness and TBL efficiencies. Market competitiveness mediates the relationship between CEI and TBL efficiencies. This study provides theoretical foundations for environmental-based production SMEs to formulate sustainable strategies and offers guidance to policy makers and environmental regulators.

Summary: In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the importance of identifying the determinants of environmental performance. This study contributes to this debate by investigating the effects of financial inclusion, green innovation, and energy efficiency on ecological issues. Using annual data from 2000 to 2018 and employing the novel quantile regression method, the authors find that industrial growth and financial inclusion have a positive impact on ecological footprints. The study suggests the need for policymakers to implement appropriate measures to improve the financial system and promote the adoption of renewable and clean energies.

Summary: The competition between territorial areas has intensified due to globalization and the removal of market obstacles. In order to gain a competitive advantage, territories need to be unique and adopt environmental policies for sustainable development. The literature lacks consensus on measuring environmental performance and its impact on territorial competitiveness. Statistical analysis of Italian provinces shows a relationship between sustainability level and competitiveness, but also highlights geographical disparities as a significant issue. The COVID-19 pandemic has further emphasized the importance of researching how administrators and policy makers respond to changes in consumer demands towards sustainability.

Summary: The transfer of sustainability innovations requires consideration of local and regional conditions, with technological innovations being more easily diffused globally than social innovations. The transfer of innovations often involves translation rather than replication, and local cultural and institutional contexts play a significant role in enabling this transfer.

Summary: In the wake of the Paris Climate Conference, emerging countries have begun to achieve carbon neutrality targets, underscoring the vital importance of environmental sustainability. Through focusing on factors like eco-innovation and environmental taxes, governments and policymakers can effectively reduce net carbon emissions and address the negative impacts of carbon emissions on environmental quality. This study examines the dynamic impact of eco-innovation and environmental taxes on carbon neutrality targets in emerging economies, highlighting their significant role in carbon abatement and the presence of the Environmental Kuznet Curve.

Summary: The article discusses the global influence of the European Union (EU) and argues that besides regulatory capacities, the EU also possesses "catalytic" capacities in financing and network building. Blended finance is analyzed as a tool of "catalytic power", aimed at mobilizing partners and resources to achieve external objectives. The article concludes that blended finance has become more important than financial leverage, positioning the European Commission as a central player in international cooperation and increasing its influence in this sphere.

Summary: This paper analyzes the transitions in the aviation industry in Sweden and examines the role of narratives as coordinating mechanisms in sustainability transitions. The study finds that industry actors construct narratives about alternative fuels and technologies to maintain the societal function of aviation while mitigating its climate impact. Narratives not only initiate transitions but also play a vital role in coordinating actors' transition activities.
