Summary: The study examines the concentration trend of scholarly literature citations and its impact on the circulation of scientific ideas. The findings reveal that citations are increasingly concentrated on a small number of papers over time. The future importance of a paper is largely determined by its past citation performance. The results suggest that the growing heterogeneity of citation impact restricts the dissemination of research articles.

Summary: The effects of freezing and thawing times and freezing temperatures on the water state and microstructure of tilapia fillets were studied. Experimental treatments at different temperatures and freeze-thaw cycles were performed, and various techniques such as LF-NMR, NMR imaging, SEM, and frozen sections were used to observe water state and microstructure changes. Fractal dimension (FD) was employed to quantitatively characterize the microstructure, and PCA analysis revealed the correlation between FD and fillet quality parameters. Results showed that increasing freeze-thaw cycles led to increased thawing loss and decreased water holding capacity. Decreasing freezing temperature inhibited ice crystal growth. FD value decreased with an increase in freeze-thaw cycles. PCA analysis demonstrated the correlation between WHC, NMR data, FD value, and quality changes in tilapia fillets.

Summary: This paper provides a macro level analysis of the visibility of philosophy of science in the sciences over the last four decades, showing the global structure of relationships with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and social sciences and humanities (SSH) fields. By exploring disciplines, journals, and authors, it answers questions about the openness of disciplines to philosophy of science knowledge, privileged ties between specific fields and philosophy of science, and characteristics of authors cited outside their field. The bibliometric approach offers a comprehensive portrait of the relationships linking philosophy of science to various disciplines.

Summary: Subject categorization of scientific publications is important for evaluating paper quality. Traditional mechanisms for categorization have been questioned, and a new method based on association rules is proposed. The method automatically defines publication categories based on the repetition or absence of relevant descriptors. The empirical study in the field of Physical Sciences and Engineering shows that the proposed method produces consistent and suitable categorization results.
