Summary: Due to the fragmentation of social medical insurance, health care disparities continue to coexist in China despite universal health coverage. This study evaluates the impacts of integrating employee and resident medical insurance programs on health care disparities in a pilot city in Southeast China. The results show that after the policy change, residents' medical insurance benefits greatly improved, reducing the disparities between residents and employees in hospital utilization and expenditure.

The successful implementation of wearable sensors has the potential to reduce stress-related fatalities and significantly improve overall maternal health outcomes.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the use of evidence-based practice (EBP) among Portuguese physical therapists and explore the factors, barriers, and facilitators associated with EBP implementation. The results showed that Portuguese physical therapists had positive beliefs, attitudes, knowledge, and behaviors regarding EBP. Age, education, and workplace were identified as the main factors influencing EBP implementation. Additionally, evidence, patients, clinical experience, schools, country, and physical therapy characteristics were found to act as facilitators or barriers to EBP.
