Summary: The study demonstrated that Pyc-uRHP provided stable and satisfactory clinical results at 9 years' follow-up, with no signs of progression in radial neck osteolysis or stem loosening. However, there was a clear worsening of radiologic humeroulnar osteoarthritis and capitellar lesions, which remained asymptomatic.

Summary: This study analyzed the long-term outcomes of total ankle arthroplasty (TAA) using the HINTEGRA prosthesis. The results showed significant improvement in clinical scores and ankle range of motion over time, with an implant survivorship of 93.5%. Therefore, TAA using the HINTEGRA prosthesis is an effective treatment for end-stage ankle arthritis.

Summary: The incidence of postoperative conduction disorders, particularly LBBB, has significantly increased after the implantation of a rapid deployment Intuity Elite aortic valve prosthesis. However, the occurrence of conduction disorders has decreased but remains high at medium-term follow-up.

Summary: This study evaluated the oncologic and functional outcomes of scapular reconstruction after partial or total scapulectomy for chondrosarcoma. The results showed that surgical treatment can achieve satisfactory prognosis and shoulder function in patients with chondrosarcoma of the scapula. Both prosthetic reconstruction and humeral suspension are feasible treatment options.

Summary: This study evaluated the effectiveness and safety of transscleral microcyclophotocoagulation (μCPC) in treating glaucoma patients. The results showed that μCPC can effectively reduce intraocular pressure (IOP), but the success rate is moderate. There were a few postoperative complications observed, and further studies are needed to confirm the results.

Summary: The study found that the new total ankle replacement design is a safe and effective procedure for patients with end-stage ankle osteoarthritis, showing improvements in range of motion and related parameters. However, further long-term studies are needed to assess the durability of the prostheses.

Summary: This study compared hypersensitivity reactions to different types of contrast media and explored the possibility of new reactions in a long-term follow-up. It was found that patients with hypersensitivity reactions to gadolinium-based contrast media had a higher prevalence of asthma, food allergy, non-allergic drug hypersensitivity, and neurologic disease. Some patients reported new reactions despite negative skin test results.

Summary: This retrospective study evaluated the long-term outcomes of primary BOX TAA with over ten years of follow-up. The results showed high patient satisfaction at long-term follow-up, but lower implant survival rate compared to modern knee and hip implants.

Summary: The study on 70 consecutive cases of Hintegra total ankle replacement (TAR) found a survival rate of 81.7%, similar to other TAR studies. A high incidence of periprosthetic cysts was identified, recommending ongoing surveillance for these patients.

Summary: This study investigated the short- to midterm incidence of peri-implant osteolysis using a novel Trabecular Metal Total Ankle (TMTA) implant design for total ankle replacement. The risk of peri-implant osteolysis with the TMTA implant was found to be minimal, potentially due to the unique material and surgical technique used in its design.

Summary: The increase in cervical cancer incidence in Sweden from 2014 to 2015 was attributed to false-negative cytological findings. A long-term follow-up was performed to investigate if the problem persisted. The incidence rates of invasive cervical cancer were reported for different years, showing no overall change but a significant increase among women aged 50 to 60 with normal cytology. The study suggests the need for improved triaging and quality assurance.

Summary: The study compared the incidence of osteolysis, aseptic loosening, and revision following the use of HXLPE or CPE in medium to long-term follow-up in primary THA. Results showed that HXLPE liners reduced the incidence of these complications compared to CPE, regardless of age and implant fixation method.

Summary: This study provides comprehensive long-term outcomes of using TM augments for severe acetabular defects, with an estimated mean implant survivorship of 8.99 years. Despite some complications during surgery, the quality of life and joint function of patients were significantly improved postoperatively.
