Summary: The problem of stability of rotating black holes has been a subject of research since the 1960s and remains unsolved in general relativity. The energy of waves propagating through rotating black hole spacetimes is not necessarily positive-definite, which is a complication in the stability problem. However, this study reports the existence of a positive-definite total energy for certain perturbations of Kerr and Kerr-Newman black hole spacetimes, despite the presence of the ergo-region.

Summary: This paper examines the potential economic spillover effects of Airbnb on restaurant employment growth in different areas of New York City. The results demonstrate a significant positive impact on restaurant job growth in an average NYC locality. The study also reveals the heterogeneity of the spillover effects based on demographic and market structure factors.

Summary: This paper examines the impact of different stakeholders and team compositions on the quality of cyber security decision-making. The study finds that no group of experts outperforms others in game decisions and that biases hinder their understanding of what they are defending and how defenses work.

Summary: Administrative agencies have a significant impact on the everyday lives of Americans, and the Supreme Court's acquiescence in congressional delegation of legislative authority is seen as a factor in the growth of the administrative state. While the Court has used the intelligible principle test to determine unconstitutional delegation, only two statutes have been struck down. Some believe that a recent Supreme Court case may mark the beginning of the end for the modern administrative state.

Summary: Understanding cooperativity and frustration is crucial for studying biological processes. This study evaluates the performance of different force fields in capturing cooperativity in neutral and charged molecular clusters. The results show that polarizable and nonpolarizable force fields qualitatively reproduce the relative cooperativity observed, but only the polarizable force field can describe absolute cooperativity.

Summary: Flooding refers to the vertical rise of gas from the sparger and stirrer region. The flooding point, which is the minimum impeller speed to overcome flooding, is considered as the operational condition for gas-liquid mixing in stirred tanks. Previous studies have mainly focused on low viscosity fluids in turbulent flow. However, this study demonstrates that the flooding point remains relatively unchanged even with a three-order decrease in viscosity.

Summary: Through examining the process of co-development of course materials by faculty and learning technologists, we can explore the social, relational, and organizational complexities associated with interprofessional collaboration in digital health professions education. Our study has important implications for guiding educational policy to better position learning technologists to effectively collaborate with faculty and realize the potential of digital health professions education.

Summary: This study categorizes the types of tails used for swimming by aquatic tetrapods and examines how the shape and movement of the tail impact swimming performance. It was found that the tail is used for thrust generation, with different tail shapes and movements associated with aquatic propulsion in more adapted animals.

Summary: This study assessed the short-term impact of genetically modified maize on the arthropod community in a neotropical scenario using food web analysis. The results showed that genetically modified maize had no significant impact on arthropod food webs and did not provide effective control of the target pest species.

Summary: The study found that sex-disaggregated analyses are infrequently presented or planned in COVID-19 studies, with only a small percentage including sex as an analytical variable. This highlights the importance of considering sex and gender differences in research designs for COVID-19 studies.

Summary: Leaders establish resolve through competent speech acts such as threats, implicatures, assertions, and challenges, which also depend on the reaction of their counterparts. Face-to-face diplomacy can influence the intersubjective belief shared by leaders, shaping their expected course of action in resolving disputed issues.

Summary: In this study, nanobubble (NB) generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), particularly hydroxyl radical ((OH)-O-center dot), was extensively characterized. The generated NBs exhibited consistent physical characteristics and showed no degradation of benzoic acid (BA), a scavenger for (OH)-O-center dot, or detection of (OH)-O-center dot using electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). Although a positive fluorescence response was measured using a fluorescence probe for (OH)-O-center dot, an alternate explanation for the result was provided, suggesting a false positive fluorescence response due to acid-catalyzed hydrolysis of the probe. Based on these results, it can be concluded that NB-induced (OH)-O-center dot generation is minimal, if present at all, under the evaluated conditions.

Summary: This study explores the reasons for the differential career success between women and men in academia. By comparing organizational narratives with self-reported experiences, the study reveals blind spots in organizational narratives and highlights the difficulties faced by women in their career choices and support. Additional measures are suggested to ensure equal career opportunities for all employees.
