Summary: This paper introduces the concept of blockage intelligence (BI) to provide a probabilistic description of wireless propagation conditions and discusses its integration in both conventional and soft information (SI)-based localization algorithms. Case studies show that BI together with SI-based localization significantly outperforms existing techniques. The rich information provided by BI is vital for accurate localization in 5G and beyond networks operating in complex wireless environments.

Summary: This paper proposes a coding scheme developed under the Fog computing architecture for 5G-IoT mobile devices, which addresses the challenges posed by heterogeneous devices and dynamic topology. The scheme maps packet segments to a finite field scheme at the application layer, allowing for data retrieval with encoded information and dynamic adjustment of coding parameters. This improves the performance of the wireless network in terms of delay, energy consumption, and goodput.

Summary: The construction, management and supervision of 5G networks need to undergo a paradigm shift to enhance data security performance. Secured computing, an emerging computing paradigm, has gained significant attention due to this trend. The conventional image encryption methods face challenges in terms of flexibility, dependability, resource management and security that are required by 5G systems, and also have high communication overheads. To address these issues, a lightweight robust chaotic image re-encryption scheme for 5G heterogeneous networks is proposed, which strikes a balance between computational speed and data security. A comparison with existing schemes and analysis of heat dissipation, encryption and hacking time, PSNR and entropy have been conducted to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed work.
