Summary: Olfactory changes are common and have a significant impact on quality of life. The CCCRC test is a cheap and easy-to-administer test for assessing olfactory function, but its validity for the Brazilian population has not been widely evaluated. In this study, the CCCRC test was adapted for the Brazilian population and showed good reproducibility and similar normality values compared to other countries.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the characteristics of interventions using the Touchpoints model to promote child development. Through a comprehensive analysis of various literature and databases, it was found that these interventions were mainly focused on the period from pregnancy to three years old, with an emphasis on disseminating Touchpoints content based on age and aspects of parenting. The findings suggest that these interventions have positive effects on child development and parenting, however, due to the diversity of interventions, identifying effective characteristics remains challenging.

Summary: There are many challenges in the teaching of veterinary anatomy, such as limited classroom time, costs, and difficulties in accessing animal cadavers due to concerns about animal welfare. Additionally, veterinarians and radiologists complain that newly graduated students lack anatomical knowledge. On the other hand, the current limitations of in-person teaching due to the COVID-19 pandemic suggest the necessity of developing online distance learning tools, especially in specialties that lack this type of material. Teaching platforms that integrate anatomy with other applied disciplines such as imaging and surgery in horses were not found in the consulted literature. Therefore, this study aimed to develop an online distance education platform for the study of surgical anatomy of the horse's musculoskeletal system as a complementary tool for training enrolled students in veterinary surgery programs. The musculoskeletal system was chosen as the focus because it is commonly encountered in equine surgeries. Anatomical specimens related to the musculoskeletal system were prepared and complemented with material related to diagnostic imaging, surgery videos, theoretical explanations, and an interactive radiological anatomy tool. Finally, all the material was uploaded onto an internet-accessible virtual platform. It is expected that the platform will be a tool that helps students in surgical training and prepares them with a better understanding of anatomy and its application in surgery.

Summary: The research aims to evaluate the factors influencing the perception of flood risk and promote effective actions for climate change adaptation and mitigation. The study finds that older age, experience of flooding, higher awareness, lower monthly income, lower schooling, and less confidence in the government contribute to higher perception of risk. However, there are significant deficiencies in understanding the relationship between risk perception and mitigation behavior, and a lack of theoretical frameworks in research.

Summary: The paper examines the institutionalization of women in shelters from a feminist perspective. Through a documentary review and analysis of residential social service regulations in the Valencian Community, the study finds that traditional residential centers for women have been joined by shelters with feminist approaches and social denunciation. However, feminist professionals were eventually replaced by a bureaucratic and welfare model that serves patriarchal interests rather than the real needs and empowerment of women.
