BREUSS, O. 2011. Notable records of pyrenocarpous lichens (Verrucariaceae) from Spain. - Herzogia 24: 375-378. Seven noteworthy lichen species from Spain are listed. Placopyrenium stanfordii and Verrucaria incrassata are reported for the first time from Europe. Short notes on characteristics, ecology and distribution of the species are provided.
